Anyone watching?

I missed the advert??

Thought that was a great episode! Totally agree that it's great Diane had more screen time. I do also like how they bring old smaller characters back - that investigator is great & love his kids going to work with him.

Duckdeamon · 31/05/2015 13:35

Diane can't get into trouble over the faked evidence: she can carry off most looks (including hunting gear!) but possibly even she would struggle with Orange is the New Black!

Yes, agree that Alicia (and Will) would never have sent those kinds of emails from a work account. really enjoy apoplectic Eli, and his dynamic with Marissa.

TrashcanMan · 31/05/2015 13:44

With the Kalinda thing, I read online that Kalinda and Alisha have not been in a scene together for two seasons now, some kind of big falling out. They talk on the phone to each other, but never in the same shot. So maybe that's why they had her going to Finn.

SheHasAWildHeart · 01/06/2015 12:41

Yeah Trashcan that's true. All their scenes are via phone now. They have a scene together in the next few episodes and it's fairly obvious that it was shot with each actress separately.

SheHasAWildHeart · 01/06/2015 12:43

Also Louis Canning - is he still a partner at the firm?

Howaboutthisone · 01/06/2015 20:57

Advert? Do you mean the TV interview thingy?
I don't think Louis canning was their partner- he was part of Lockhart, gardener and canning. Then David Lee left them to work at Florrick Agos I think, leaving Canning behind. Them being back in the old office space makes that all far more confusing!

Ooh, I'll keep an eye out for that one Shehas, thanks

OnlyLovers · 03/06/2015 10:08

Finn in his glasses. Mmmmmm.

That's all. Grin

Travelledtheworld · 03/06/2015 23:23

Yeah I saw the Scientology advert too and was slightly baffled. It was very long....never seen any religious advertising in the UK. Had it sneaked in from the USA ?

RumAppleGinger · 04/06/2015 21:11

Ooohhh this is going to be a good one.

TrashcanMan · 04/06/2015 21:17

Am I the only one getting fed up of that investigator guy's kids coming along with him everywhere? Why the bloody hell can he not sort out some childcare?

RumAppleGinger · 04/06/2015 21:31

Maybe there is a lack of good childcare providers in Cook County. Patty Nyholm always has her kids in tow too.

candykane25 · 04/06/2015 22:04

Well i am not sure that all made sense. Ernie bribe man - why would alicia trust him to provide her with a lawyer? And all the hacking chip nonsense - no one had their facts straight. And as if Alicia would just sit there and listen to her lawyer lie. Surely lawyers can't incriminate their own clients.
And doesnt Geneva Pinebnow work for Alicia? Wouldnt Alicia just tell her to back off?

Halfpint76 · 04/06/2015 22:20

Not liking how Alicia seemed so weak in this one...and reliant on men to rescue/defend her..then running crying straight into Peter's arms.hmm. And how on earth could that Democratic Party guy just take her phone like that without her challenging it?

oneowlgirl · 05/06/2015 00:01

He had heavies, so no arguments from Alicia or Eli!!

I actually thought it was a very good episode, showing just how corrupt & nasty politics actually is & that it takes a certain kind of person to hack it, & unfortunately someone decent like Alicia will struggle.

Disappointing for the rest of us as I think politics is generally like that the world over & only a small minority of very rich people end up winning!

slicedfinger · 05/06/2015 00:07

So stressed out by all that I had to watch a Big Bang before bed!

northender · 05/06/2015 07:22

I loved the episode, felt exhausted by the end. I think there are just 1 or 2 episodes left so this built things up nicely. Can't wait for next Thursday.......

HalleLouja · 05/06/2015 09:15

Poor Alicia. She really wanted to be SA.

Finn was looking super hot yesterday.

Howaboutthisone · 06/06/2015 17:25

I thought that was a great episode!

I felt sorry for Alicia. Her lawyer was such a shit! It was all so complicated and interwoven. I'm surprised that Eli hadn't worked out what they were really up to with the bugging devices though. I agree that it was a shame that Alicia was so reliant on the men this episode but really loved her giving the bribe offer man his comeuppance!
I felt a bit sorry for Grace but was also wanting to scream at her that her father's inability to keep it in his pants had set the wheel in motion for her mother to need to look for happiness elsewhere.
Interesting that Cary wouldn't turn on Bishop to save himself but will to save kalinda. Do you wonder if she's going to try to use her new understanding with bishop to get him to testify himself as his way out? I've not really thought the theory of that through but there's something there!
Diane cannot be disbarred and jailed! I love her and she genuinely had no idea!!!

OnlyLovers · 08/06/2015 10:07

I agree, it was galling that Alicia was so reliant on men and had to go crying to Peter. He CAUSES most of her problems, IMO; she ought to just cut the fucker loose.

I think it's unfair that Grace seemed to be judging Alicia so harshly for having a loving relationship while separated from Peter, when her father had been secretly using hookers while supposedly happily married. Hmm

Cary looked THE BUSINESS this week. Ring a ding ding. Hope Bishop doesn't have him killed off.

RumAppleGinger · 08/06/2015 10:16

I don't think it will be Cary that gets killed off. I know one of the major characters is leaving the show so think it might be them that gets it.

OnlyLovers · 08/06/2015 10:20

He IS a major character!

But yes, I think I know which other character you mean (not saying just in case it's a spoiler), so maybe it's not Cary.

RumAppleGinger · 08/06/2015 10:24

Of course he is. Sorry, I meant another major character.

chippednailvarnish · 08/06/2015 13:56

I love The Good Wife, especially Diane. I want to be Diane when I grow up!
