I thought The Vote was excellent!

I enjoyed this episode much more. Love Meryl Streep's daughter. Love Diane's husband (although I DON'T think she owed him an apology; I think she was acting in her client's interests rather than letting her own opinions bias her).

So DID Canning try to set Alicia up? I couldn't work it out.

I'm meh about Jonny, personally, [Team Finn], but if Alicia wants to get her rocks off with him then hell, she deserves it. And anything that pisses off Peter is fine by me!

MJF was very underhand and the phone scene made me laugh.

I wasn't in team Jonny but thought the whole being shy of Alicia thing was really cute and am warming to him. Anyway that means I can have Finn all to myself.

I liked having Finn in a case. It did confuse me though when the court scene started and I thought he was still an ASA.

Jonny will be moving on soon to his next campaign - Sacramento was mentioned last week.

DH and were talking about Keir Starmer (former Director of Public Prosecutions) being elected as an MP last week. Then DH surprised me by saying he was now having trouble separating Keir Starmer and Finn Polmear mentally - they are interchangeable in his mind as being legal-ish and decent.

I think Alicia as SA might be OK because at least it will get back to the law rather than politics. It would be fascinating to see her on the other side, as the boss of Geneva Pine etc.
