Maybe Shab is a lesbian, although I don't why she would have a newspaper cutting about it. Don't think she's had a baby. Possibly married, although that's not shocking which the article implies. Also, not murder due to the Lucy storyline.maybe she saved someone's life, or witnessed something important or was an undercover cop...

What was Aunt babes secret?

waithorse · 17/01/2015 22:30

Richard Blackwood to join Eastenders ? Confused

waithorse · 17/01/2015 22:35

River apparently Aunt Babe has been in love with Stan all these years. Hmm

Southeastdweller · 17/01/2015 23:15

I understand why Mick was angry when him and Linda returned but it's not his pub, is it? I like the Carter's but love Shirley running the pub. I wouldn't mind if she kicks them out (if she can).

MissBattleaxe · 17/01/2015 23:40

I understand why Mick was angry when him and Linda returned but it's not his pub, is it?

It's his HOME, he paid for it and put Shirley down as co-licensee. You can hardly blame him for not wanting his wife's rapists drinking their and he is the landlord.

MissBattleaxe · 17/01/2015 23:41

there not their

Southeastdweller · 18/01/2015 08:28

I thought she was the only licensee but I may be mistaken.

MissBattleaxe · 18/01/2015 09:50

The three licencees are Mick, Linda and Shirley and the two owners are Mick and Linda so I think Mick and Linda do have the right to be pissed off that Dean is there.

LoveVintage · 18/01/2015 10:13

Dot confesses to killing Nick, but I'll bet it isn't her who actually kills him. Charlie, maybe, and she confesses protect him?

Southeastdweller · 18/01/2015 10:29

Yes they do but the Vic is also Shirley's home.

waithorse · 18/01/2015 10:43

Christian back for live episodes Could Jane be the killer ?

waithorse · 18/01/2015 10:44

Also, who is Richard Blackwood going to be ? Confused

waithorse · 18/01/2015 10:46

Apparently Blackwood is playing a new bad boy.

I can't stand Shirley. I hope she and Dean leave. She's always annoyed me.

Has anyone started a new thread ?

Fakebook · 18/01/2015 11:04

I really hope they cast Richard Blackwood as a Michael Moon type villain. That would really suit him. I still miss Michael's one liners; his lines were written brilliantly!
Apparently he's starting during the live episodes when nick gets murdered and his entrance going to be "explosive".

My DH (after 9 years of living with me) has become glued to EE. Yesterday I caught him catching up with the week's episodes on his phone Grin.

Southeastdweller · 18/01/2015 11:14

I doubt I'd be able to take Richard Blackwood seriously as a villain.

Christian's probably coming back for the wedding.

Fakebook · 18/01/2015 11:22

Yeah he does seem to have a "Tim Westwood" cringey-ness about him. I hope he doesn't play the character out like that.

QueenFuri · 18/01/2015 13:24

I can see Richard Blackwood being Kim's husband maybe. I am really looking forward to these live episodes though and not just because they are going to reveal who killed Lucy sounds like everyone has a good part to play in them needs to get out more.

pinkrocker · 18/01/2015 17:21

I lurve Christian!

but it is a pub, dont wash your dirty laundry in public an all that!

Not many women I know (or their spouses for that matter) would welcome her rapist into her home and/or business.

Shirley only has a small holding in the pub, as the majority owner, Mick can certainly state who does/doesn't go there, and as far as I know, there is nothing official re Shirley 'owing' the pub, just that she is a licensee. And being a licensee doesn't make you an owner. Nor does borrowing 10k from your dad for fixing it up.

Yes they do but the Vic is also Shirley's home. Because Mick asked her to move in! Then he kicked her out when she defended Dean! So no, it isn't officially her home anymore.

MissBattleaxe · 19/01/2015 10:27

Yes they do but the Vic is also Shirley's home.

She doesn't own it, Mick does. Why are you defending Shirley's actions? Her son raped Linda.

Southeastdweller · 19/01/2015 10:28

As far as Shirley's concerned, Dean didn't rape Linda.

MissBattleaxe · 19/01/2015 10:33

Well yes, as far as Shirley's concerned her son has been unfairly accused, but she should still respect the wishes of her brother and his wife whether or not she agrees with them. That's their home and business and they get a say in who enters there.

Shirley is not the owner, lives there as Mick's guests 9 or did until they fell out over Dean) and is only one third of three licencees.
