I do NOT like the route they are going down with the rape story line now. Shirley is really pissing me off, swanning around during The Vic, Stan believing Dean and saying he never believedid Linda.

Also how the hell do other people know about Linda 'sleeping' with Dean? Stacey, Mick, Shirley, Tina and Stan knew. I can't see any of them blabbing about it.

That whole story line about Nick has been so badly acted by everyone but Dot. I don't believe she burnt all the money as that would be unbelievably stupid like the whole plot .

Agree that Nick's acting is awful. I quite like Charlie and Dot is fab so the contrast when Nick does his lines is so apparent!

I don't have a problem with some characters believing Dean. That is what happens in real life - you want to believe the people close to you. With no concrete proof either way, it is natural for the characters to come down on both sides of the fence. We know the truth because we saw it.

If you look at it from the point of view of not knowing it was rape, Deans story could so easily be true as they had spent a fair amount of time together.
