Peter said something like "I guess it is hers then" about the coke when Lucy fled the room. When Ian questioned Lucy she did look at Peter. We know Peter was getting cocaine but do we actually know for sure that Lucy ever took it?

If I had to pick which twin was taking cocaine I would go with Lucy. Especially with her association with Danny. She just fits the stereotype more I guess.

Oh yeah I vaguely remember now Lauren and Peter finding the taxi driver and him running away. Damn it!

Lucy told Ian she took the coke to block out the things he's said to her before she died, so I'm pretty sure she was taking it.

I think the cup thing is quite significant, as it shows the murderer is of a nervous disposition.

So, who is going to volunteer to examine umpteen episodes to find one where a character shreds a polystyrene cup...?

I don't want it to be Abby. I think it would be totally out of character for her to murder someone as she is so ineffectual. Manslaughter maybe, but Emma was clear that it was murder having heard the story.

I wanted it to be Aleks but it can't be him as he saw Emma in that cafe and also he was at the wedding when she was in the park.

Maybe we don't have to look for polystyrene cup shredding but hand fiddlers or someone who twitches a lot when nervous? I'll be watching hand gestures closely the next few weeks!

I didn't mean lucy wasn't taking coke I just don't think peter is as innocent a he claims to be Lucy was seen as the bad girl I think peter just had simple jealousy going on

On the subject of Abby - look how she was when she ran the dog over. Would she really have been able to hold it together if she'd killed Lucy?

She managed to hold laurens head underwater she is a girl on the edge she could have snapped quite easily

But back in April, could she have held it together to not give herself away? I think she would have been a mess.

I am riveted by this thread - probably much more than I am at the actual programme at the moment.

I have absolutely no idea who the killer could be. Am really impressed at the level of detail being remembered here. I would guess that Abi wouldn't have been able to hold it together? Denise seems the only one falling apart but probably a red herring. Oh I dont know, but I do hope it is a 'makes sense' outcome and not a ginormous let down.

Cindy could have held it together and remained calm.

Jay didn't do a great job of remaining calm after Heather so I would cross him off my list.

I think Max can be crossed off on the basis of the episode where Emma met with the killer.

I'm crossing Peter and Lauren off because they put a lot of effort into finding the taxi driver.

I think Ian is unlikely as his reactions on finding out she was dead seemed very genuine and shocked.

Who is left? Denise, Abby, Ben, Dean...

I am starting to wonder about Cindy now, but not based on much in the way of actual evidence.

I hope it wasn't cindy as I'd like her to stay

What was it abby said when the dog died? She said something to Emma in the kitchen and it made me do a "oooohhhh"

Abby has a seriously dark side! Her behaviour in the Halloween episode was not normal... But, I agree, she wouldn't have kept her cool for this long, she'd have just got weirder and weirder.

Dean would be able to hide it well and convince himself it wasn't murder - after all he's convinced himself Linda had consensual sex with him.

Yiur right about Abi and her disposition. I do think she's getting a darker character now tho.

I'd like to think the killer is someone who's in the frame but who hasn't been featured lots in the story such as Whitney or Dean.

Peters reaction to finding she was dead was far too large IMO for him to have known. Same with Ian.

I thought the scene with the bus was of them getting off? Lucy and Jay and was Ben there? Or wasn't Jay meeting Ben somewhere? (To rob the off licence!)

Oh oh oh - just had a thought wasn't Lucy meant to have been in the taxi drunk with Jake? So was that before we saw her in the square with train station and text and before she got the bus or was that back from the place she got the bus too? The timeline suddenly seems confusing to me and too much people going back and forth. Also where had they been and what had they been doing that caused jake and Lucy to be in a cab - and jake being pissed. (Altho get he was an alcoholic!). And she must have gone into his flat because her blood and earring were there. So blood from cut on head?

Please could someone clarify how many episodes there were last week.
I watched monday's and was away the rest of the week and only 3 have recorded but I thought there was one on Wednesday (being NYE) so there should be 4 (5 in total).
