Why does that link mean it's definitely Abby?

fedupandfeelingold · 04/01/2015 08:00

If you read the comments i mean sorry
The ones from the username vinny explain very detailed

afreshstartplease · 04/01/2015 08:08

I am now even more convinced it was abby!

Want to rewatch the episode!

youarekiddingme · 04/01/2015 08:17

I first suspected Abo and Ben. Now I'm wondering if it's both of them? Jay is probably involved because he protected Abi?

Does anyone remember the episode where Jay said to Ben about him always dragging up him I it trouble and being fed up of it?

afreshstartplease · 04/01/2015 08:26

Possibly!

Love the investigating

But on the one thread posted here he said Abby, on the otehr (also posted here) he said Jane...how can he convince us if he has 2 theories, one on the 3rd Jan & one of 4th Jan?

Vinny07... I like your thinking I just posted a comment a few minutes after you on why I think Jane is the killer. I don't know where all the houses are positioned and stuff, where did Jane say where she was when she suppose of seen Lauren turn back again? .. January 3rd 2015 at 9:38am

Vinny07 .. So there you go folks it looks very certain that Abi is your killer and im betting that Max helped her on maybe moving her body.

Opps, bold fail.

FurryDogMother · 04/01/2015 08:33

Hmm... didn't Max pop out for 5 mins to walk the dog, leaving Abi alone? If it was him that would fit with Emma saying 'it's still murder', if it turned out that Lucy had died as a result of the earlier bump to her head (Emma also dying that way would be ironic, non?), caused by Max pushing her? He could have used the dog walking time to put her body in his car - although that doesn't really fit with Emma patting him on the shoulder as she left the Vic to do her mysterious staring at Denise's place :) Ah well...

fedupandfeelingold · 04/01/2015 08:35

Ahh didn't notice that - my money (figuratively) is on abby though!
And the explanation did help me!

youarekiddingme · 04/01/2015 10:10

Here's been lots of conversations between max and Abi about sticking to story etc, Abi helped max clean the blood, comment about it staying between them.

I wonder if max befriended Emma to help protect Abi and then actually fell in love with her - it's clear he did actually love her. Sad

TheReluctantCountess · 04/01/2015 11:17

Budd, yes! Lauren did say something like that to Emma, when they were talking about the video.

esiotrot2015 · 04/01/2015 11:19

I think Abi did it and Lauren will take the flack for it and that's how she'll leave to have her baby

Fakebook · 04/01/2015 11:21

When Jake was arrested, what did he say about the blood in the apartment? Did they ever find the unlicensed taxi driver who drove them home? I think that's the clue. Maybe whoever drove the taxi is the one who committed the murder. It might not have been a taxi at all if Jake couldn't remember due to being drunk.

TheReluctantCountess · 04/01/2015 11:22

Bianca.

buddhasbelly · 04/01/2015 11:40

Fakebook I like your thinking, that way the killer could have put small traces on Jake (trying to remember if they did find the taxi driver or not!)

youarekiddingme I know Max had feelings for Emma but it was strange when watching the Christmas Eve episode and Lauren was trying to get Max and Emma back together. When they were talking in the kitchen and Max talks about Emma's work and liking her, it sounded like he was trying to convince himself that he loved her. Maybe I'm reading too much into things!

Mrsjayy · 04/01/2015 11:51

You have all gone a bit Poirot about this Grin

afreshstartplease · 04/01/2015 11:56

I think max feels guilty

afreshstartplease · 04/01/2015 11:58

Could have been Lauren puts traces on jake after she helped clean up or something

SoupDragon · 04/01/2015 11:59

I thought peter and lauren tracked the taxi driver down and met hm in a cafe somewhere.

afreshstartplease · 04/01/2015 12:00

I think that's right soup

differentnameforthis · 04/01/2015 12:03

fedupandfeelingold The girl in the hoodie that vinny talks about, doesn't look at all like Abby to me...

Mrsjayy · 04/01/2015 12:11

It still could be peter it could be peter thats the coke addict and he got Lucy into it he could be the Evil twin and did her in maybe lucy took the blame for the cocaine they found

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/01/2015 14:17

thats true mrsjay, as when ian demanded to know who the coke belonged to, lucy looked at peter, so could have been his coke

tho that doesnt explain who put lucys box under the tree, coz the murderer isnt going to do it as they are hoping never get caught

so something to do with the 5mins and houses Grin

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 04/01/2015 14:18

If it was either Peter or Lauren, why would they have spent all that time tracking down the taxi driver to try and clear or confirm Jake as the murderer?

Catam · 04/01/2015 15:08

I'm not sure when Lee started out with Whit, that's what I have loved about reading everyone's theories, my memory isn't that good!

But on the 5min thing (& connecting to 'Vinny's' theory...

The CCTV of Lucy running for the bus on George St - I was wondering if it really took from 19.59 to 20.05 (nearly .06) for Lucy to get from Bridge st to George st. I was coming on to ask if any of you had seen a map online.

If it took less than 5mins maybe she had met someone on the way between.

Then I noticed that Lucy is followed by a running figure in a white hoody. I watched it a couple of times as was looking out for Jay - but he appears to get on first, before Lucy. The person running behind Lucy gets on after her.

Is the running figure Abi? Or connected in some way? Does anyone know how long it's meant to be between Bridge St & George St?

My son laughed himself silly when he came in this afternoon to find me surrounded by scraps of paper, the iPad & an A1 sheet covered in marker pen & wool strands - but this would make an excellent party theme
