No tweet. My turn for staying in bed longer today so am on my tablet and shockingly have no CJ photos on it so need to gix that today!

icemist missed those last night, weren't showing on my thread. Lovely

icemist wasn't expecting to wake up to CJ's bum but it was a pleasant surprise.

Back to work on Monday and need to start getting into a routine again. Been reading this thread and the ff until midnight. Really have to promise myself to read 'ordinary books' again and put the light out by 11pm!

Gardening for me today. Work off excess chocolates and let my fantasies of CJ in the checked shirt run wild.

Am afraid that The Musketeers don't do it for me so no weekend treats for me sadly. Instead am reading the ff, my books completely ignored.

Absolutely gripped by the Another Time ff. In a perfect world, there'd be a new series of OG with the story based on onlygirl's ff (post watershed of course) then another series, based on Another Time. I'd be quite happy for my weekend viewing to be taken up by new versions of the OG storyline, always played by BA and LT naturally. Perhaps, a version set in the Navy for those who like that uniform and of course one in the fire service for cherin. I'm thinking mounted police might tick the boxes for me: long boots, yes; horses, yes; uniform, yes!

onlygirl absolutely no need to apologise! After the ridiculously cr*p present I had from them this Christmas and had to open in front of them, they deserved to be kept waiting last night. Your ff is a far better present!

Hahaha. It was an egg cup! Well at least we think that's what it is. I'm not even fond of boiled eggs! I had to pretend to be pleased as well. May ask for a gift wrapped CJ next year. See what she comes up with!

Ouch, an egg cup? (One? For a solitary, contemplative breakfast alone with boiled egg? Not my ball bag, either!)

(Just finished preparing ricotta dumplings with DS2. The idea was very romantic and he surely liked it. My back is killing me, having to hold him on the stool and making sure not ALL the flour would fly around etc...dunno what I was thinking...)

Honestly, what is it with uniforms and men? What does Freud think about it, there must be an explanation....
(Mounties...Canadian Mounties? Yes! Even better than pompieri. You can get stranded in a log cabin because of a snow storm and have to wrestle stay close for a place in front of the fireplace and dig out maple syrup from the back of a cupboard and...)

My enforced decompression is finally coming to an end as school looms closer, thank god! Had to satisfy myself with 1995 Colin Firth as Mr Darcy on Drama's Pride & prejudice loop, followed by more frilly wet shirts as D'Artagnan was climbing a well in Musketeers. Not CJ but not half bad.

Liked those bum pics very much indeed, thanks icemist, perfect for re-compression so to speak.

I'm sure CJ and Molly could get stuck in a snowstorm in Canada and have to tough it out in a log cabin up the side of a mountain. With a roaring log fire and a cosy rug in the floor....

cjwoof lol that really made me smirk. Reckon my eggs aren't up to much either now. Could share a few chocolate cream eggs though!

The worst present they ever gave was a tin of Morrison's talc and bottle of hand cream. As they gave it to me, her husband said 'she's so good, she should be royalty'. God forbid that the royals give such sh*te presents!

Now, now...its a good, thrifty investment, the talc could probably last you 10-15 years (I use it only to dust the inside of swimming caps so they don't stick and wax hair out. But we never go swimming in pools, so actually in our household a bottle of talc would probably last 20-25yrs ;-) and by then the Morrison label would have faded enough!)
Hand creams...DS2 has a passion for them and on a weekly basis he fills a plastic bag with bottles/samples/tubs etc to bring to the baby sitter (who must, by now, have the smoothest hands in London!). So an extra bottle could always be useful. As long as you make sure the cap stays closed when you don't need it :-)

Just thought I'd throw in that Fingers is appearing in Corrie at the moment as drug dealer bad boy Callum. Sporting a beard and a menacing air, he's a bit of a dreamboat actually, despite the lack of combats and headpiece.

I know icemist - I quite enjoyed doing that too a while back. I wonder what's happened to some of those names on there? Got fed up of us or still lurking - what do you think?

I see the author of "Acceptance" has given us a mention in her latest chapter and author's notes.

I really like some of these ff .... But don't have time to read them! cjwoof I also hide in the toilet ... At the moment the kids are stuck in font of the TV, DH asleep on the sofa, I'm supposed to be clearing up the tip that is currently my houses .... But having 5 mins to myself!!!!

Just saw that too. I like the recent chapter with the 'talk' that we never got. I wish someone asked TG that- was it filmed or never part of the script? They asked about it for ep 5....must look into contacting the powers that be on here to see if he'd do one for us

I think people might still lurk but not post. We are prob the hardcore lot with a new joiner every so often.

I am a hand cream obsessive. Actually body lotions as well. Dp groans when I get into bed, open my bedside drawer and remove... (No not an exciting sex toy) my hand cream and sit there rubbing it in, before spending the next hour giggling over the latest posts on this thread.

Unfortunately, although at the time I daydreamed over Colin Firth in P&P, now I just can't summon up the same enthusiasm for him. I did like Jeremy Northam in the film version of Emma, even though he wasn't at all what I imagined Mr Knightly to look like.

I haven't read Acceptance yet, so I might head off to the loo for a quick read.

Survived cross country, SO muddy and wet, it hasn't stopped raining all day. Stupid DS1, put down his spike bag along with a mountain of other club runners stuff and when it was time to run his race couldn't find his spikes! He ran in regular trainers with gaffer tape round his foot to keep them on, pillock!

Also a hand cream addict, and body lotion. My skins is so horrid and dry I also use dry body oil as well as Bio Oil! I slip into bed regularly!

I would love to back and read on older posts, but what with FF, regular watching episodes, YouTube - Whatta man and all other social media, I'm not sure if I will find time.
