Does anyone know if Brendan and family went in the end? I was shouting at the Mum when it was on, she was just nasty.

differentnameforthis · 06/01/2015 13:47

18yearstooold Private insurance is pushed very hard here...but the public health system is pretty perfect, ime.

Davros · 06/01/2015 18:27

Thus really is foot through the screen to isn't it? I've only caught up with Monday's episode and I think the woman had some deep, unresolved issues about how she felt, and still feels, about that part of her life when her mum was I'll and their plans to emigrate got dropped

Davros · 06/01/2015 18:28

Stupid phone! Foot through the screen TV ffs

code · 06/01/2015 20:15

I thought the same Davros. Odd that she was wanting to leave her mum behind after all they'd been through as a family.

LegsOfSteel · 06/01/2015 22:41

I thought the young girl on today's one was really sweet. I'm not convinced she was happy voting for Australia at the final vote though.
And 4 of them voted for the Australian lifestyle after what looked like a pretty dull/bog standard day out in the woods. They must live in a pretty bleak place if that won them over.
But I thought they were a lovely family - best of luck to them.

threepiecesuite · 07/01/2015 09:22

Gentle?

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 07/01/2015 09:23

and i think that's the second Harrison this week so far

sailorsgal · 07/01/2015 09:28

Am watching today without ds giving me a running commentary. I do notice he has put it on record. Grin

Not sure what I feel about these two yet. At least the BBC seem to have stretched the budget to buy Nicki a new dress.

sailorsgal · 07/01/2015 09:32

I think her parents named her whilst they were travelling. I am curious to know what her siblings are called. Grin

hugoagogo · 07/01/2015 09:33

If he says no I think she'll go anywayShock

sailorsgal · 07/01/2015 09:37

why show them a house £140000 over budget. I would like a much larger house but that is not going to happen ever

OP posts:
HollyJollyDillydolly · 07/01/2015 09:37

Ooh the job bit.

threepiecesuite · 07/01/2015 09:38

I've got that same navy dress as Gentle. It's from Oasis.

floellabenjaminsearrings · 07/01/2015 09:38

Why not show him a comparable job!

floellabenjaminsearrings · 07/01/2015 09:40

Ok I spoke too soon...

sailorsgal · 07/01/2015 09:40

A much more expensive house and a job earning less than half. Hmm.

OP posts:
threepiecesuite · 07/01/2015 09:41

Ooh, you gave the dog a nice pat. You're hired.

floellabenjaminsearrings · 07/01/2015 09:42

Why is he voting NZ?? There is demand for senior devs in the uk.(DH is one)

floellabenjaminsearrings · 07/01/2015 09:44

This bloke is very confused. He says he doesn't want to go particularly, and can't picture them there, then he votes for NZ on jobs and houses when they are both not comparable to what they have in the UK

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 07/01/2015 09:44

oooh the Great Outdoors

let's get in quick, it's taters

Unexpected · 07/01/2015 09:47

Does anyone else think that this couple keep talking to each other as if they are work colleagues or acquaintances rather than husband and wife?

floellabenjaminsearrings · 07/01/2015 09:49

No-one ever agrees with their valuations. Do these people not look at their local market before considering selling up?

KnappShappeyShipwright · 07/01/2015 09:49

I'm not convinced by this couple. It all seems a bit wooden, their body language isn't quite right.
