You might be right Susie. I was surprised when they said they had only moved into their family home one year ago. Property is cheap where they currently live so perhaps she is recently qualified which would explain the long working hours for both of them.

If she's a newly qualified lawyer in a high street form then her salary won't be great. The dad is hilarious, he hates everything!

They could show them round a palace with a pool, massive garden, everything they want - given to them free (in fact paid to take it off the owners hands) and dad wouldn't like it. He clearly doesn't want to move anywhere.

Gosh Melbourne is very expensive compared to others cities they have been. As the houses are over 30 miles outside the city in this one.

Why do they show them properties so far outside out of budget? It's like Bullseye - look what you could've won.

Basically the mum doesn't want to spend time with her kid. The salary is the same and the hours are less but she thinks the UK is better.

I'm here too. Very odd episode. Very strange indeed. They seem like two people hell bent on doing their own thing all the time, so no idea where the daughter's meant to fit in.
