Really cross. Was halfway to the hospital for my appointment and the surgeon's secretary rang to say there had been a bomb scare and he was delayed in Belfast overnight. Have come in to work and will ring shortly to see what time he will be available today (I guess there will be at least a two hour delay) or I may have to reschedule.

Beingfrank - you could say you will be UNDER BA at some point if you are directly in the flight path to Heathrow. A nice thought, however short lived! Anyway, if you have outed yourself, I did exactly the same thing on Tuesday over the flight in a military aircraft. If anyone did recognise me, they have not said so. Like you though, I have stopped caring.

I am sure BA would be nothing but gentlemanly with the cabin crew. He's not well known enough yet to start throwing his weight around. At least I hope he would be gentlemanly.

Captain Morley had me laughing out loud in starbucks. Queue some very strange looks and a very red faced me now hiding in the car!!! Number of cards written so far = none!!!

Ladies let me tell you once and for all....then I'll duck and hide...this British obsession for cards is frankly overrated. Stop fussing about it. It's like the cold and hot water taps (plural). Nobody else in the rest of civilised world use them, or expect that many cards, and they survive...well enough, at least.
Breathe! It will be ok, believe me (it like the first time you forget wearing mascara to work. You fear the worst. It doesn't!)

I'm on Heathrow flight path too and was thinking of marking out a fake landing strip in Local park and intercepting traffic control signal etc to say emergency landing required. Then I'd rush down there and administer kiss of life whether BA wanted it or not, tell him there's no way of leaving for Devon til after Christmas and tuck him up nicely in my bedroom home for a fortnight. I'm hoping icemist can sort out the IT logistics for this mission to be a jackpot.

Might gonna need to do a bit of waxing too...how long before the emergency landing? Cripes, gonna need longer than that.

Oh yes galaxy fire brigade AND armed airport police backup in full black combats to escort passengers (except BA who will have already been bundled into the boot of my car) back to LHR. They could all come back to my house to freshen up before the journey. I'd then keep BA locked up to myself like Kathy Bates in Misery until I release him, totally fragged, back to Canada for the next episode of Reign.

icemist I am a total saddo but thought I'd take a peak at flight radar 24. BAw98 is heading for N Ireland then over southern Scotland then over me so bog off cjwoofwoof I'm gonna get him first. Flight due to land at Heathrow 12.05

What with all this excitement this morning I am really behind... Got a few girlfriends over for lunch. Just sitting with coffee to breathe. Mushroom, shallot and chestnut parcels, washed down with bubble and white wine. Bring it on, sod the wrapping and card writing. cherin we only gave out a few this year as we donated to local hospice where my mum went.

Don't have time to read zombie FF :( but will save for later.

cjwoof I'm all waxed and ready to go... I wasn't a brownie or a guide (I wouldn't sit on the toadstool, so got kicked out!) but still always prepared.

When he gets really famous, he will probably fly in a private jet, we are close to the exec terminal at Biggin Hill. Camping out with a long lense ...
