Strictly Come Dancing - too uncool?

I absolutely love this show and it just gets better every series. But I rarely admit to it in public and none of my friends watch it - they all watch X factor - which I love too but not as much. So would love to hear from anyone who loves it as much as me!

Can't wait to see the salsas on Saturday. I agree that there isn't a fab woman this year which is a bit disappointing but still love it. Am loving mark and peter. He reminds me of Shrek. So cute.

I like Carol Smilie as well - like Len says she just gets on with it - no hystrionics, unlike some of them!!!

No they got tangled up in Mark's microphone, a techie came on to sort them out, Bruce got in everyone's way and then they started the dance again.

For me, it is probably brendon and Claire. The dance they did seemed to be just to prove a point, and he did not use Claire to dance the way she can iykwim

I thought Mark seemed much more relaxed tonight and happier. And in the clip after the Salsa night he seemed very relaxed and chatty.

Despite doing extremely well at County cricket in the UK, he has basically flopped almost every time he was selected to play for England; and commentators have put it down to nerves. So this is a fantastic achievement for him IMO.

Oh no i hope Brendan and Claire dont go as i like Brendan.

i love this programme!! I like claire, but I think they were the worst this week, as Brendan didn't let her dance, just wiggle about. He's a knobhead isn't he?

Bottom of the pile for me this week are: Brendan and Claire - I wish he would just shut up and dance, Jan and Anton - just average, and Matt and Lilia - I think he's unconvincing.

But enough people want to watch brendan rant and rave

Marian Keyes was genius, wasn't she? Although Claudia could never be replaced, if she needed a week off I would give the job to Marian in a heartbeat, she is hilarious.

Hats off to Karen and Mark, what a nightmare situation tonight. I remember Patsy's wardrobe malfunction last series but they clearly couldn't dance on as it was - thank GOD there was enough time for them to do it again.

i watched my first strictly tonight. personally they all blew me away with how good they dance, but then again i can only just about manage the makarena.

but i am definatly going to have to watch more....Emma Buntons partner is PPPHHWWOOOOAR. plus the loud stroppy one is a bit dishy when he dances...never thought i wuld find a dancer attractive (very stereotypicle i know but it all seems a bit girly) but i did definatly feel a striing when they did that dance with Zoe Ball.

Ah it was lovely to see Zoe dancing again - she just looks fabulous on the dance floor (and should have won last year)

Thought Jan was getting a bit histerical which is never a good idea. Am really warming to Peter though I can never forgive Erin for throwing the competition away last final with that ridiculous dummy dance with Colin. Matt to go next - he doesn't look like he's enjoying it and isn't coming across that well. Wish Tess would wear something more flattering than satin and a stronger colour.

Know what you mean about Jan getting hysterical, but they're all really getting into it tho and it makes great telly.
Agree about Tess and the satin - sack the stylist! Mind you, they've got a job lot on satin and sequins, and probably have to use it up
