When KFG 'erupted' on the ballroom floor in Blackpool - putting his partner in the shade- I assumed it was just the Blackpool high. But Kevin is still at it as if he is playing to the gallery in an enormous theatre. I just hope he doesn't burn himself out suddenly.
As others have said he must calm down as looking really OTT now and not doing Frankie any favours either.
I have always thought Frankie had 'robust' looking legs especially compared with Caroline's beautifully toned ones. But then Frankie has a gorgeous face.

I love Edelweiss song which sends shivers down my whole body and tears into my eyes ( hopeless romantic).
Also the Mark's Salsa music .
But poor Simon's was ridiculous and right from the start I have complained about the camera angles being ridiculous too. There have been worse than last night!

In previous years I remember the professional dancers discussing the music choices, as THEY chose the music for their celeb partners. But I don't think anyone has discussed the music this year - is it still the professionals choosing the music or are the production team doing it now?

Behoove · 30/11/2014 10:19

Nail on the head spanish - it's all obviously so overproduced this year

The pros dont choose the music or themes anymore.

eeyoreeeyoreoh · 30/11/2014 10:31

yy Digerd. Even in the group dance last night Kevin was going a bit crazy at the end. His background is musical theatre or something though isn't it? Perhaps that's part of it, though he def wasn't like that last year (except for his paso with Susannah?)

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 30/11/2014 10:40

Amateur ballroom/Latin then he went into stage stuff - he was in Burn the Floor.

eeyoreeeyoreoh · 30/11/2014 10:51

Ah, perhaps you have to overperform more for stage stuff then? Though loads of them have been in burn the floor haven't they? So possibly not that then..

Redcoats · 30/11/2014 15:46

I don't think its just that, Pasha was also in BTF and he's quite understated.
Perhaps last year, Susanna out-smugged him so he seemed quite reasonable. Now he's got Frankie who is a lot more unassuming we are noticing him more.

The reverse is happening with Janette this year.

MelanieCheeks · 30/11/2014 18:53

Waiting for the results show.

TheSpottedZebra · 30/11/2014 19:22

This world theme is still utter shit. Why not jist frack onnto the actual Irish Dancing, and miss the 'just wear green and waft about to Danny Boy' malarkey.

CMP69 · 30/11/2014 19:22

Good start Danny Boy makes me cry every timeHmm Too many drunken Paddy's days away Wine Wine Wine

GrouchyKiwi · 30/11/2014 19:23

I do love a bit of Irish dancing.

sighsloudly · 30/11/2014 19:26

Darcey always looks so uncomfortable when she dances on set.

Tanaqui · 30/11/2014 19:28

I think that- is it the heels? Not like ballet shoes! Like her dress though.

Didn't some of the Irish dancers have slender legs! How do they fit the muscles for those jumps in?

LottieMumofWilfJenkins · 30/11/2014 19:28

Is it just me who is a bit Confused about the Irish Dancing on St Andrews Day???? Hmm

TheSpottedZebra · 30/11/2014 19:30

Nah, I'm a mix of Irish and Scottish and I'm fine with it!

Plus it was yesterday of course.

ilovesooty · 30/11/2014 19:30

CMP69 · 30/11/2014 19:31

Good lord public Shock Hmm Confused

OwlCapone · 30/11/2014 19:31

I hope it isn't Mark v Jake

sighsloudly · 30/11/2014 19:32

i don't i think she always looks slightly embarrassed but it could be the heels. her dresses are always lovely much better than Tess's.

sighsloudly · 30/11/2014 19:32

oops missed out the know...

MelanieCheeks · 30/11/2014 19:34

I thought today was St andrews day! Google agrees with me. Though I was at a St A ball last night.

On a round the world theme, Irish dancing is fine.

digerd · 30/11/2014 19:35

oh no, Mark in the DOSad.
Glad Simon is throughSmile.
