Oh Lord 6 is back to his old soft self & the grump has gone -hoorah!

Was Anna around to get to London & back at the time? She was busy the day Mr Bates disappeared "on business" in York .

Anna is so big and strong, she would be well able to shove greene under a bus....

Bates will say it's him what did it.

Lord G. has taken it all in his stride-that his dull daughter has an illegitimate 3 year old!!!

Edith is considered the old maid of the family. Lord G knows she won't be married off so in a way this keeps her nicely at home.

They think it's Bates and have arrested Anna so he'll confess.

They really want Bates because he slipped out of their grasp last time!

I think Greene was the man that led Baxter astray with the jewellery theft and she whacked him under the bus.

Is Marigold meant to be 3yo?

The way Edith carried her about I thought she was about 18mo plus if she was 3 would she not be asking where her other mummy is (the poor woman who was originally looking after her?)

I can't believe the family would be so accepting at all!!

Marigold was born in 1923 so is 18 months ish
