I don't find it scary either. But I've been watching so called scary stuff since before I hit double figures Grin

VashtaNerada · 07/12/2014 17:09

Depends on the episode - him lurking while Annie was doing a wee completely freaked me out!!

BingoBonkers · 07/12/2014 17:20

My DH also watching.

It feels like it really needs to have a massive dose of excitement. Kinda feels like it's gently bubbling away however the ceiling collapsing was one moment that I thought "Bloody hells bells" and then I laughed hysterically at how ridiculous it was.

Northumberlandlass · 07/12/2014 17:28

DH also watching.
Although, we have been rolling our eyes & think the Police would of arrested him at hospital.

I don't find it scary, but very chilling. Especially when he was watching her have a wee & also some of the scenes with Katie made me squirm.

Looking forward to how it pans out!!

Can't read thread cos missed last Epidode, but why isn't it on I player?
Does anyone know where else I can watch it?

diddl · 07/12/2014 21:52

There are currently 4 eps up on iplayer

macnab · 08/12/2014 09:44

Well I'm watching from Ireland so saw the next episode last night and it is exciting. They've upped the ante for sure. Apparently the last one won't be shown until 17th Dec and its a feature-length special - not sure if that's the case for BBC as well.

hollyisalovelyname · 08/12/2014 09:49

I watched it too Macnab.
I won't say anything to spoil it for BBC viewers.
Please tell me what did PS hide in the plug socket?
What was the babysitter burning?

mazylou · 08/12/2014 11:23

Apparently it is a feature-length episode for us in the UK. Thank you RTE viewers for not spoiling!

radiobedhead · 08/12/2014 11:41

Think it was a memory/SIM card he hid?

hollyisalovelyname · 08/12/2014 11:42

A feature length one for us too in RTE land. But not til 17 th December.

SpidersDontWashTheirHands · 08/12/2014 12:08

The biggest difference this series is that he hasn't killed anyone yet; it's almost worse than when he was stalking and stabbing because we're just waiting for him to put his surgical gloves and balaclava on again ...

BingoBonkers · 08/12/2014 15:50

I agree Spiders however in the episode where he thought he saw Rose in his mirror and she was sat on his bed that made me really jump!

SinglePringle · 08/12/2014 20:04

Just watching last weeks ep - what's the significance of the boy in the photo? The 'monumental cock up' one? He's got eyed hair, the initials PB (I think) and 'aged 10' under his name?!

TheDogsMissingBollock · 08/12/2014 20:28

It's of Peter/paul as a child. Theyre checking out his childhood 4 clues...

YonicScrewdriver · 08/12/2014 20:36

Do we know that for sure? Agree it is likely but might be a brother/friend.

rootypigsinblankets · 08/12/2014 20:45

It's definitely PS Yonic - in the preview clip for next week, Burns takes the photo to see the priest convicted of sex offences in prison - he remembers him.

YonicScrewdriver · 08/12/2014 20:47

Ah, ta, haven't watched preview!

SinglePringle · 08/12/2014 21:22

Ah, thanks!

SinglePringle · 08/12/2014 21:23

(But why was the copper with the bloody nose saying 'this is a monumental cock up' if they've only just found the photo?)

radiobedhead · 08/12/2014 21:39

Momentous cock up was the bloody ceiling falling in!! Is that not cock up enough?!

alltoomuchrightnow · 08/12/2014 23:08

where can you find the preview?
also if sexually abused by priests, wonder why his hatred is towards a certain kind of woman. Perhaps women that resemble his dead mother?

rootypigsinblankets · 09/12/2014 04:47

Single a monumental cock up to crash through the ceiling during a covert bugging operation......

all the extra scenes are all on iplayer

VashtaNerada · 09/12/2014 06:42

He did originally say to Katie it was his mother's hair, so I think his mum is key (but I hope she doesn't get blamed for his behaviour which is clearly all his own).

guineapiglet · 09/12/2014 07:47

Does anyone know anything about the painting which he saved as Stella's screensaver? It was obviously some kind of religious iconic painting, a figure with her feet tied, and satan 'owning' her. Is it a madonna fallen type picture, or how he sees his mother?
