Mick - Danny Dyer cheated on his wife

Sonia - Natalie Cassidy - having a baby allegedly with someone she's known five minutes after taking her violent partner back. But mainly because I can't stand how she thinks she is something special and she really isn't. Plus she needs to wear clothes that actually fit.

SuperFlyHigh · 30/10/2014 16:24

ItsFab - why do we never see Martin?! (James Alexander was the actor I think...!)

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/10/2014 17:16

Think martin is growing a new head

Can someone tell me what the joke with the money was? Blush I did watch it, but on iplayer and was multitasking so wasn't looking at the screen all the time...

temporaryusername · 30/10/2014 17:24

Ah, ok, just re-watched the end and answered my own question. I think it was Phil, although..

I love Dot's kitchen - it is pristine but dated in just the way I think it really would be.

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/10/2014 23:42

Meant to mention the slap and punch with the woman :(

Why does Tina stay with her Hmm

Tbh bit of a boring epidsode. How long can they keep nick from dot?

GetTheRedOut · 31/10/2014 11:53

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't really get this storyline with Nick. I thought he HAD to fake his death because he was in trouble with the police and it was the only way out of it and Charlie helped him out. Now suddenly Charlie owes home for something and he's able to swan round Walford demanding money and threatening to expose the whole thing to Dot? I don't understand that, surely he would be in even more trouble with the police now than he was before? Is it a case of just wanting to fuck things up for Charlie and to hell with the consequences for himself? I don't see what he will get out of exposing it at all?

GetTheRedOut · 31/10/2014 11:54

Have I missed something?

temporaryusername · 31/10/2014 12:07

I'm not sure Red because I've missed a fair bit, but I think it could be that even though Charlie lied to help Nick out, Charlie would still have a lot to lose now if Dot found out, as he has got close to her and is living in that community. It is strange though...maybe they thought he would let Dot see him and then disappear again. Or, there may be much more to this than there seems and Charlie may have more ulterior motives.

I want to like Charlie but I can't, because I can't get over him being prepared to let Dot grieve for her child when he was alive. Also, the undertaker, why did he do it?

GetTheRedOut · 31/10/2014 13:11

I assume the undertaker was just paid a lot to sort it out for them. There's been very little contact between him and Charlie since then so I don't know if hes got any more to do with it than that. Maybe Charlie is hiding more that we don't know about, that would go some way to explaining why he thinks he owes Nick. Otherwise, it really doesn't work as a story. If Nick needed help and Charlie helped him then he doesn't owe him anything. Surely Nick would then go off to another country and start a new life. I just can't work out what the point of hanging around and harassing Dot is, risking exposure to the police the whole time.

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/10/2014 15:13

Plus who did they bury instead of nick?

I assume they blackmailed the undertaker to do it. Or at least for huge financial outcome

OP posts:
SuchSweetSorrow · 31/10/2014 19:13

They showed him paying the undertaker didn't they- I remember fat boy was suspicious of it at the time

Mrsjayy · 31/10/2014 20:38

Ello maa it was so good oh and that edge Abbie was teetering on she is over it

cleanmachine · 31/10/2014 20:54

Oh the nick story is just fucking stupid. It doesnt make any sense at all. Its really pathetically poor scriptwriting.

I agree that the guy playing dean is doing a brilliant job. Hes turned out to be a fab actor, much better than when he was last on.

AGnu · 31/10/2014 21:54

'Appy 'Alloween! Grin

Mrsjayy I had the same reaction. DH was Hmm & said "but he's creepy!" He's just the best baddy ever!

R4roger · 31/10/2014 22:11

what a bitch is Abbie to her sister

Southeastdweller · 31/10/2014 22:49

I've decided to stop trying to figure out the Nick and Charlie story. Maybe things will become clearer next week when Nick talks more to Dot.

So let's add Abi to the list of people who've had personality switches Hmm

I've enjoyed having a break this week from the rape story.

Mrsjayy · 31/10/2014 23:23

Agnu I let out a yaay and dh said Hmm

I've not seen Fridays but I'm not surprised abbie is being s bitch to Lauren. It's always about Lauren. About time Abbie took some control

Fakebook · 01/11/2014 06:07

I knew Lauren was being followed by another person apart from the policeman! Abbie probably did it to scare her back to the house so she's not alone.

Good old nick! I hope they give him a good storyline unlike the last time unbelievable cafe hostage situation.

Mrsjayy · 01/11/2014 08:27

So why is Ben saying him being gay was a phase then?

Nancy66 · 01/11/2014 14:39

it was a daft episode.

Mrs Doyle mentioned to Dot about Charlie having to talk her out of viewing Nick's body. Dot starts screaming 'how do you know, you weren't there?'

Err...maybe Charlie told her afterwards

Lauren is terrified that Lucy's Killer is following her. so she follows what she thinks is the killer to an empty allotment patch at night?!

Even by EE standards it was all highly implausible.

R4roger · 01/11/2014 18:01

ha ha Mrs Doyle was offering Dot a cup of tea, how many of us watching were saying ah Go on

DieselSpillages · 01/11/2014 18:41

I agree .. it's all going bonkers. Abbie and Ronnie have exchanged personalities.. meanwhile in a deserted B&B Denise is drinking herself into a forgotten oblivion. Lucy is dead but so many unfinished stories have come and gone since then that I've lost interest in caring who might have done it.
