She did nt get on her vet course she got into Bolton through clearing I am sure the unis are great oop north

She did nt get the grade s she needed she was going to do animal biology or something

It wasn't the vet course she wanted to do, it was something animal-related course which Jay talked her into.
Then he dumped her, she ran over the dog (?) and she decided that the course wasn't really for her so she was going to stay in London.

I don't really like her that much, but she does have some great one liners.

I actually giggled & clapped at Nick's "Surprise!" Thankfully I was alone at the time!

re benefits, i noticed that, but carol very PC like saying, she wanted to work, wanted more than benefits. I was going to mention recently how the scriptwriters dont want to people to be seen to be relying on the state

So Charlie and Mrs Doyle decided to fake Nick's death and persuade the undertaker bloke to bury another body as him?

Then Charlie decided he had to pretend to be a detective? But now he's going to tell everyone that he's not a detective after all?

Yeah thats it although I can't remember whos body was in the coffin and charlie pretending to be in the police for clarity I wonder if Charlie isn't as sweet as he is making out and knows nick was going to come back his mum isn't exactly sqeaky clean either they are maybe ALl con artist s, oh poor Dot char lie being like Nick will crush her

Charlie said Nick needed to fake his death to escape trouble and he has always sought his dad's approval- that resonated with Ronnie and she said something like 'it's always the dads isn't it?' I think Mrs Doyle went along with it because if he was 'dead' he wouldn't be able to contact them again. She did seem genuinely scared of him.

I do find it hard to believe that Nick wouldn't have used Charlie to manipulate Dot at an earlier occasion. Especially after she was so heartbroken when Ashley died.

I hope Kush is a nice guy, be good to have a decent bloke in it! He fair recoiled from Sonia when she moved in for a kiss in the Vic!

The Stacy/Alfie/Kat storyline annoys me. Big Mo used to be a canny operator and the matriarch, now she's a comedy character. She would see through Alfie's BS.

Still not sure how he convinced an undertaker of long standing to take part in the deceit. He could be dodgy already I suppose but how do you find out without risking being reported?

It does seem like the scriptwriters have tied themselves up in knots a bit with the whole Charlie/Nick thing.

The actress who plays Big Mo is shockingly shit so the less air time she has the better for me.

I do agree about Mo, Nancy, just really dislike this ridiculous storyline. Mo knew the benefits system like the back of her hand, she swindled it if I recall... She would've had them claiming anything & everything months ago.

I think charlie is younger than Ashley

Hate big mo now she is just plopped in now which is a shame she used to be great. My Late Mil was like Sonia it was a frigging nightmare poor dh had it tough with her manipulation

How old is Charlie meant to be in the programme? He looks like he's in his thirties. Ashley would have been about 30 now. I think Nick would've used Charlie as a replacement for Dot...to get something out of her!
