I'm struggling to remember why Phil didn't like Nick, I'm sure it's glaringly obvious but it's eluding me.

But agree that the kat and Alfie story line is pathetic. Why don't they claim housing benefit/tax credits (or whatever it is nowadays)?

Nick is pathetic and the sooner that story line is over the better.

But the carters I love. Glad that the rape story line is going to be coming out soon though.

The acting in the Nick scenes in awful.. utterly ridiculous storyline too. Is Topsy and Tim's mum gonna go undercover to keep her job?

I like the novelty of seeing Nick with a woman (first time ever, iirc?). I also like that Yvonne is showing more sides to her and anyone who can get one over on the horrible Ronnie gets my vote .

I think topsy and Tim's mum is going to go undercover to redeem herself with the police and then she's going to get killed by the killer when she realises who dun it. She's an awful character she definitely needs to go!

I also don't get why D.I Keeble doesn't get a warrant for the laptop if there's evidence on it that may prove Lauren was involved in Lucy's death. Unless she's trying to set up Emma?

Yes! It was Whitney at Lauren's house (so presumably on Lauren's laptop).

I think Whitney deleted her chat history with Lucy. She said to Tam that Lucy had been bullying her online so I guess she wanted to get rid of anything that might suggest she had a motive.

I loved Mrs Doyle's tea-making skills tonight. Especially the bit where she was told to "just leave it"! Hideous acting, stupid storyline but it makes me giggle. It's nice to have a little light relief between the rape & homelessness storylines! Having said that, "I'm going to lock us both in."

I know, why didn't they go straight after the fire instead of taking over the Masoods then Alfie throwing a fit when Mas said they had to go, then squatting in a house, then taking over a flat that's not theirs, now camping on the Carters floor. Alfie is so bloody entitled thinking the world owes him a favour and it's all his fault anyway! I can't believe they have the nerve to blame Lee when it was useless Alfie yet again who made him go when he told him he hadn't even started that at college yet. He only thought he was doing the right thing by contacting the landlord.

Ugh and yes, hating kat and Alfie atm. Seriously, why would you hop from squatting in one house into another?! I don't believe our benefits system is this bad, that the council wouldn't provide housing to a family with young children. Or maybe Alfie never went back with their birth certificates? He did go to the council initially but is doing that proud can look after my own family thing. I laughed when ronnie told mrs Doyle to leave it was waiting with baited breath for a gwan ya will . Ronnie is pissing me off I am almost on nicks side

I wouldn't be suprised if they ended up winning the lottery or inherit a large sum of money from somewhere. This always happens when someone is down and out in eastenders. If this happens, I'd be really disappointed.

I can't decide if I hate T&T's mum more in T&T for being so bloody perfect or in Eastenders for being such a whiny mess.
