Bianca went further than watford she went to Milton keynes thats almost abroad Wink there has to be a force field at the tube station that stops the m from leaving to go to work

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/11/2014 08:30

Bradley was the only one in a suit who had a job outside the square and look what happened to him !!!!!!

Silly how all work round the square in Prob nmw paid jobs yet can afford huge rents /mortgages for the property there

And all seem to pop into the Vic for a drink at lunchtime then go back to work. Lunchtime drinking gets ME drunk !!!

Plus - how come Alfie is still squatting in that house. The estate agency had people interested in it so surely they would be moving in and saying who the fuck are you and Alfie and kat getting arrested

Mrsjayy · 06/11/2014 08:54

Yeah so much lunchtime bevying

Mrsjayy · 06/11/2014 08:55

The nursery in the community centre riles me it started as a playgroup that roxy took amy to now its fulltime Daycare that whitney works at

0898 · 06/11/2014 09:07

Doncha know they have the magic childcare scheme, which makes your offspring disappear at any moment convenient to the plot.

0898 · 06/11/2014 09:08

I do love you though Easties, I do Blush

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/11/2014 14:41

They never look further than the square for a new partner either (well Mel came home with someone and he turned out to be Roy Evan's love child. Of course )

The house with the green garage door -is that Pat's old house? That would have been turned into a double storey extension by now. No need to have a garage, there's no trouble with parking, even though they're right next to an Underground.
There is Residents Parking in force, but loads of cars would park there if it was real

And they've always walked out of their perfectly servicable kitchens with a kettle to buy tea in the cafe.
Nowhere has a kettle. Even Stacey was buying coffee- Deanos posh hair salon doesn't have a Tassimo ?

Is the Beauty Salon still open (Bootys)

SparkyLark · 06/11/2014 15:30

Yeah, its weird as if its set in the 1950s-70s sometimes (apart from the occasional gruesome sex scene and deep French kissing Ew!). How many launderettes in the UK now with some old crone sitting inside? No 'elf and safety - anyone can rock up and start cooking in the cafe. No tax or national insurance it seems or redundancy or anything, just "yeah, you can start work tomorrow". May even be a bit of nostalgia there perhaps.

Is it just me, or is that ex-police woman now-shagging Max Branning, the Clark Cable of Albert Square (cringe), an annoying character, managing to be both excrutiatingly worthy, and also a complete moron?

LemonBreeland · 06/11/2014 19:36

Sparky, I keep trying to figure out if she is more annoying in Topsy and Tim or Eastenders. She is so wet, and such an unbelievable character.

alemci · 06/11/2014 19:50

Ben get over yourself.

Bleugh to the Calender

WRT the dragging out of the Who Killed Lucy storyline:

EE have always in the past done really good build ups .
Off the top of my head-
when Archie moved in on Peggie and slowly moulded her into something she wasn't. Subtly putting her down and making her change her clothes, hair, make-up. Peggy was always feisty but she was well out of her depth.

Ronnie and Danielle. Archie's lies to both of them until she discovered the truth.

Archie and Janine

The only time I can remember a story being ruhed was the Phil/Nadine marriage (they were doing a similar storyline on Brookside with Terry, Barry and the nanny. But they did it much, much better) Wink

Harrin · 06/11/2014 20:47

Booty is now Sharon's bar (The Albert?)

jellyandbeans · 06/11/2014 21:20

The whole Linda story is tiresome, obviously a Turkey is going to be flung about and Babe n Mick will hatch a plan to kill Dean ( when they finally find out !) Christmas is still weeks away so cue a lot of middle distance gazing for ages yet.nThe Nick , Charlie Yvonne triangle is simply daft.. Poor Dot..its a real shadow of itself these days.

Mrsjayy · 06/11/2014 21:58

Lol flung Turkey right I'm bored of Nick he can go now wonder who will save Dot they are never going to raise enough money I wonder if she will tell Ian who will tell Sharon who will get Phil involved

Southeastdweller · 06/11/2014 22:15

Emma is still a cop, isn't she? I don't understand why she's still working (though not on the Lucy murder case) - surely she'd be at least suspended if this reflected RL?

Hey that sounds a fab xmas plot!

Are you an EE scriptwriter Hmm
?If not you should be?

Mrsjayy · 07/11/2014 08:05

The D S woman is keeping Emmas affair secret butvyoud think the disgruntled ex would report her its bloody ridiculous a police officer shagging a suspect and sg
she knows Max had sex with a 20yr old girl most women that would repulse not emma though, I really dont know what they see in max.

DieselSpillages · 07/11/2014 08:17

That's briliant Sinister
Nick, charlie, Dot story is a ridiculous pantomine.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/11/2014 19:10

Thought beauty saloon was now hair salon?

OP posts:
Harrin · 07/11/2014 20:16

No new hair salon is a shop appeared from nowhere, as they do

Thisvehicleisreversing · 07/11/2014 20:41

I thought Emma's mum looked familiar, she was Pauline, one of Del Boys fiancées in Only Fools Grin

SilveryMoon · 07/11/2014 20:45

Dean's salon is Janine's estate agent place

bleedingheart · 07/11/2014 20:50

Is Emma meant to be so scatty and incompetent or is she actually involved in some double bluff undercover work?
She didn't question Pam but she did act weird when talking about Lucy. Not what you might expect from an experienced FLO.
How Les thought that would help I have no idea!
Was pleased to see Eastenders tackle the issue of poor choices for vegetarians and glad we have the square's lothario on our side! Smile

Southeastdweller · 07/11/2014 20:55

Emma's mum was also in Happy Valley.
