Rumour has it that Blonde Electra and Stephnie are in danger. She was a bit dull, Steph, and i didn't think much of the song choice, but there were worse.

Personally, I think MastrB8 should go for being pointless, and Clunt for being dull. Stevi can stay to give us a Wanger vibe and annoy Mel B.

Oh, and there is a bit of filler from Pharrell and Taylor Swift (not together).

And hopefully- A GROUP MIMED NUMBER, whilst wearing pleather made from sacred plows.

Parents even

CalamitouslyWrong · 12/10/2014 21:20

They all had to be in bed by 9 too. Grin

topbRaahhnana · 12/10/2014 21:20

I remember the TT press conference, they used a room at the airport, and I was working that day. we had lots of tearful girls in the shop buying the back catalogueGrin

Jill2015 · 12/10/2014 21:49

Oy you lot, all over here on a shiny new thread without me Grin

Wadingthroughsoup · 12/10/2014 21:57

Just de-lurking to ask why one of the contestants from a previous series was called Nanfucker?

NanaNina · 12/10/2014 22:08

Flo I hope your little boy is soon better and home again. Nice that one or two of this mob thought to send a kind message.

and topbanana - you are 4'8" - that's a real surprise - I imagined you as a tall willowy blonde - honest. I'm not sure you can be topbanana now. I think the title has to go to Calamoutislywrong - I find your comments very witty.

The other thing I notice is hardly anyone comments on the comments of others - too busy getting their own witticisms in..........and FGS Dermot is a short arse - get over it!!

slithytove · 12/10/2014 22:41

Are you annoyed with us nana?

TSSDNCOP · 12/10/2014 22:46

Are you Dermott's nana Nana?

squoosh · 12/10/2014 22:47

Sorry for dissin' your grandson's height. I'm sure all the family is very proud of Dermo.

Naaaah not annoyed at all slivytothe sorry if I disappoint. Have found the thread vaguely amusing.............oh and I've been rumbled as Dermot's nana, and I'm Simon's great aunt as well........

BOFster · 12/10/2014 23:34

At least five, Nana Wink

We're not a bad lot really.

NanaNina · 13/10/2014 14:36

Ha! I'm sure you're not a bad lot at all BOF - I've found the thread amusing except I can't keep up with the NNs. I think Pugsy will win but I can't see why - but then I'm tone deaf so no hope for me..........

Wadingthroughsoup · 13/10/2014 14:49

Pugsy is magnificent! He really is the only properly decent singer among them, IMO.

Won't somebody please tell me why a previous constant was nicknamed 'Nanfucker'?

BOFster · 13/10/2014 16:45

He went on about his nan. A lot.

Wadingthroughsoup · 13/10/2014 18:53

Ah, thank you. It's a great nickname :)

CalamitouslyWrong · 13/10/2014 19:32

Why thank you nana. Grin

The reason it looks like no one is paying attention to anyone else is because we're all soliphists that the whole live thread thing is fast paced. We mostly know that people are laughing along with us, even if they aren't acknowledging how hilarious an individual post is. You get used to it and it's all much easier to follow with practise.

And the nicknames prove easier than remembering the contestants' actual names after a few weeks. They evolve as the series goes on too, as people come up with even better options with new events. The totally brilliant ones stick absolutely (e.g, nanfucker which autocorrect offers me as an option these days), but others are more plastic. And there are always some that are too dull to nickname properly, or at all. They don't tend to stick around that long, because they're too dull even for the people who vote.

I honestly could not watch xfactor without this thread.

Raahh · 13/10/2014 19:46

Just passing by to say hello- and I haven't ignoring anyone, Grin but have finally, after over a week and a half, been properly treated for my bloody migraine. Mainly because my BP was dangerously high. After 8 hours, several blood tests, x-rays and a CT scan I am finally home. With a neurology referral.

It has been an interesting day.

Pugsy to win!

Are you ok Raahh? Glad you are home.

SirNoel · 13/10/2014 20:17

Feet up Raahh, NOW.

Do absolutely nothing for the rest of the week.

Until Saturday, when you have to find out what the song choices are, and start the next thread.

CalamitouslyWrong · 13/10/2014 20:18

You can still blame xfactor for the migraine even if it's something else entirely. Grin

You alright?

squoosh · 13/10/2014 20:28

That sounds like an intense day Raah. Hope all is well.

Louis Walsh will be reading this thread (obv) thinking he'd like to give you a hug and tell you that you've 'made the thread your own' and you remind him of a 'young Thora Hird'.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 13/10/2014 21:04

Hope you are feeling better Raahh. I hereby declare myself part of the clandestine Pugsy fan club.

Clandestine just because we couldn't possibly have something so positive as a fan club on this thread, oh no!

NanaNina · 13/10/2014 21:05

Raah - I used to suffer from migraines for many years until I found out about the Triptan drugs - they changed my life. The bloody GPs had never told me about them because of their cost. You might already have tried them but if not it's well worth a try - Sumatriptan (brand name Imigram) or Naratriptan (the one I took - can't remember the brand name)

They aren't pain killers but reduce the swelling in the blood vessels around the brain that causes the pain in migraine. It's a horrible pain and people think it's just a headache whereas it's a neurological pain.

One of the pluses of growing old is that I grew out of migraine!
