I really hope though that they focus more on Edith and less on Mary and her boring, all look the samey, suitors.

I wonder what the children were told.

I think LineRunner might as well write the rest of the series.

Is it odd that she has told the husband rather than the wife?

i can see the value in telling as few people as possible.

Hated the way poor Edith's gran and aunt were so unanimously urging her to basically get rid of her child. Surely Cora would be more sympathetic? Wouldn't Edith confide in her?

Didn't Edith work on the farm in the war, and got quite close to the farmer? Was there a bit of an affair even?

They kissed I think & then soon after a letter arrived at DA (which I think Lord G read out??) that she was no longer needed.

so that's whay I'm pretty sure that it isn't the same farmer.

Just to clarify the details

someone up thread said the other sister had it off with the chauffeur before marriage. She didn't. When she agreed to elope with him, she gave him permission to kiss her but that's all until everything else was settled. On the night they attempted to elope, Mary, Edith and Anna found them sharing a room but not sleeping together.

Farmer in this series was not the same farmer Edith worked for in the war.

There is no way that Edith can take Marigold without revealing that she is her mother.

Tony may well try to blackmail Mary to marry him but there are some pictures of him and Mabel being amicable floating about on the net.

I want Carson and mrs h to get together. Also Tom and rose. And Edith to get the baby back.

I want daisy to continue her warnings and take over her mans little farm she was promised. We don't seen to hear about that much any more.

I think that Daisy decided to improve her Maths because she was concerned that she wouldn't be able to manage the business side when she eventually takes over the farm.

Mrs H is too good for Carson the misogynist.

Isn't Lily James leaving to be big in Hollywood or something? So Rose might be the married off and going to live in London one. I've only just got into Downtown, lord knows why I can't think of anything that's actually happened!
