I really hope though that they focus more on Edith and less on Mary and her boring, all look the samey, suitors.

I think Mary is taking the pee out of Anna - she can see how uncomfortable she is.

I don't think I can take another Bates/prison fiasco.

Why do these story lines drag on for ever - I've always enjoyed it but I'm
beginning to get a bit weary at it all.

It's almost like JF thinks 'oh well it's only women watching - they'll just be looking at the frocks - no need for a decent storyline'.

Bates is gonna find Mary's 'thing' and trouble starts between Bates and Anna again, can they not be happy for little while or at least only have one problem to deal with the whole Greene thing is enough.

What was the deal with Baxter and the footman? My baby started up and I missed it. She finds the whole show rather repetitive and derivative and she's only 3 months old and hasn't even seen previous series.

Chap Mary shagged was who she was telling pickles about - gillingham aka will from Inbetweners. Now granny, maid, chauffeur/bro in law know about her shagathon - why not just put it on Facebook Mary?

So basically Gillingham is either a crashing bore or shit in bed. Surely it wouldn't take her a week to work that out. And if she isn't interested (anymore), why has she not dumped him yet?
Why go on a secret trip and then tell Pickles all about it?
Are her and Pickles going to end up together?

Edith and the farmer need to find a better cover story for why she is so attached to the child. Has anything happened about the finding of the photo? Have they not guessed or suspect?

So basically I think Mary's saying she was in a shag haze before they went away and was unable to see him for the person he truly is due to a desire to get it on. Now she's sated her lusts, she does indeed find him a bit meh (as do we all).

But what's she going to do? Breaking it off with him now that she's done the deed is potentially quite risky. Ah for the simpler days when the suitors conveniently carked it post coitus.

I, too, was worried that Anna having to take care of Lady Mary's shagging equipment would lead to more Major Misunderstandings with Bates, but was relieved that they had the conversation where she said she was looking after something for LM. But this is obviously going to lead somewhere, isn't it? Please tell me it's not going to tie in with the investigations into why Bates was angry with the dead valet! Please ...

Is it possible Gillingham killed the valet. Didn't Mary tell him what had happened? Maybe it's not the Bates is a murderer story again.

AND what was that "if you love me" from Tom about???? I thought they might be getting together when Mary first started taking an interest in the estate and they were spending lots of time together. The teacher has got to go.

What will Edith do now she can't see her daughter?
