I watched it some of the acting was just shite really shocking sheridan was brilliant as always but not sure if I will bother next week , sheridan has said its an adaptation so not the true story

The accents on some of them were awful, my mum and granparents are scousers an they most definitely dont sound like half of them. Too high pitched an squeaky.

I miss brookie too, always used to watch the omnibus on a saturday. And I could only watch it on the portable telly as I live in wales and could only get s4c on the big telly

Well I watched it and I am from the Pool of Life and no-one speaks or spoke with those comedy panto plastic scouser faux fur half past the leg o' me shirt Accrington Stanley accents. SS herself included, except she can be excused because CB speaks like nobody on earth. Also, the person SS was playing allegedly used to give hand jobs down the Scottie road, according to my elders. Who were allegedly around at the time. Mind you so were eleventy-billion scousers of a certain age, if you believe them all. And I don't reckon she did anyway, I think they're all just jealous/hate the sight sound of her. This, that or slut shaming - whichever it is, non of it's to be proud of

Apparently, Madam said recently that when she heard Sheridan Smith was going to play her she 'wasn't sure at first'!!? Why love because she's good looking can sing and act!! No I wasn't watching, just couldn't get past the fact that it was about Cilla and why anyone commissioned it in the first place. Think SS deserves a medal!

Ha most of the Lipa students are from anywhere not Liverpool and Norway/Sweden/the Netherlands, bizarrely. Def not from round here. I know this because I have worked with local young people in outreach workshops there. Also it was my Grandad's school and I took him on a tour.
