Her doughnut wasn't nice. Her signature bake didn't look as good as the others either.

Ah shame liked Martha, though she wasn't as great as she has been this week. As much as people don't like Louis I think he's a strong contender for the final, along with either Richard or Chetna.

She did so well, doing her AS at the same time.
Nancy wasn't up to speed tonight but I definitely think she should be in the final. With Chetna & Louis.

Chetna was robbed - but it was exactly thus in the final last year. They can't award prizes to the people that cock up the show stopper cod that's the last thing we see and so that's what we remember. I do like Richard though!

Martha has done fabulously but it is her time to go. She is great - just like the 6th formers I teach, pleasant,motivated, well meaning kids who are a pleasure to sines time with.

Final 3 - Richard, Luis, Chetna. I think Chetna will win.

Really relieved Martha went instead of Nancy. I love Nancy. And that she doesn't take Paul's word as gospel.

Agree Chetna was robbed...just because ONE of her doughnuts wasn't great, even the the other was.

Richard's cheeks are disturbingly rosy. My friend pointed out it is like he has been glazed.

Its either Chetna or Nancy going next week. The final is definitely between Luis, Richard and most likely Chetna. Richard's had all the star bakers but in the final he'll be quipped by Luis who will pull out the show stopper of all show stoppers.

Why are all the contestants so slim ( apart from Louis and Claire) . I baked a loaf of bread and could no longer fit into my jeans when I ate it all to myself!

They definitely need to give the ousted contestant more time on Extra Slice. I wanted to know how Martha got to be so good at baking at her age, and how she did in her AS levels.

I think Luis should have been star baker.

Martha was wonderful. And very gracious.

Sensible money has to be on Richard now, no? Though Diet agree Luis's design flair will help hugely in the final.

The preview of next week looked hugely impressive!

I can't bear the way Paul tastes whilst staring at the contestant. Creepy as heck! I'd shudder and look away if I were them.

Back to the baking, I'm enjoying all the international bakes of this series, probably cause I live in forin land

I think Chetna wasn't star baker because she had an unexpected and not her fault advantage during the technical.

And because it sounded like her doughnuts were not nice.

Good point, people would be baying about unfair advantages if Chetna had won star baker. A little unfair though.

I see Nancy's microwave antics has spawned a DM story about her being a rebel. There's also an article about the smut & filth of Mel & Sue.....
