Yum @ Kate ' cake. I love chocolate and sour cherry. With a dollop of creme fraiche, super.

I made it in the ring so we didnt have too big a cake but still something to look special

That princess cake makes my teeth itch, it looks sooo sickly! and I hate marzipan

I had a mini princess cake in IKEA last week but the icing was pink

Those princess cakes look diabolical to make from scratch in the time they've got.

But I guess that's the point of it!

And how are they not squashing the cream out when the marzipan goes on?

Cant stand Louis! Mel and Sue are irritating me tonight.
Ive been racking my brains to think who Nancy sounds like and i have realised that it is the hideous Peggy Armstrong from Heartbeat!!

Not gin with marzipan though. Amaretto I think.

Richard's really gone downhill in the last 2 weeks after his strong start. He needs a good showstopper now really.

I love Louis and Mel together. Louis can be the featured baker/3rd wheel if my dream of Late Lunch returning, comes true.

I love Kate's jumper/sweatshirt. Anyone recognise it?!

Why do mel and sue wear jeans 8 sizes too big?

I reckon Richard (and Louis) will ace this one - it will surely work for their meticulous nature. Kate s will be beautiful, Nancy and martha will be a mess. Chetna will be middle of the road.

They'll keep in martha as they always over mark her, I guess the youngest contestant thing is a good story arc. So unless Kate has a good bake she'll be out, or Chetna, not great at anything yet, but not the bottom ever.
