Ooh good, somewhere I can have a rant about the Alfie storyline! They've turned him into a right nobhead haven't they?

It's like the scriptwriters assume that the majority of EE viewers are bitter, cheated, divorced women (I'm only two of those things haha) so they make a large proportion of the male characters spineless liars. I think they do it really well with Max and Ian, but I thought Alfie was meant to have a bit more backbone (and sense!).

And the mad thing is that they've got to replace all the house contents so the Insurance claim isn't going to make them any better off, is it?

Yy. It's like they picked her up from This Life, dusted her off (a quick spray of orange tan) and plopped her down on the set of EE. She was just as irritating on This Life I think.

Tina isn't given enough screen time I don't think, nor Nancy actually. I'd like to see them with some bigger storylines. And I agree about Nancy in different clothes. Maybe just jeans instead if shorts and a different hairstyle every now and then!

I think Tamwar needs more storylines too. Wondering if they are laying the foundations at the moment for a Nancy/Tam romance?

Really finding Mick and Shirley annoying at the moment. At first he was really likeable but now when I watch all I see is DD shining through. And Shirley overload recently!

Love Kat and hope this storyline is done well from a burns victim perspective but think they need to boot Mick out of the pub and put Alfie back in. He only really works there. Even looks odd drinking in there. If not Kat is stronger on her own, but I do think they're great when in the pub together

Mick seems to have morphed into a caricature. His voice and phrasing really annoy me now.
