More dislike for tosh here. She seems a bit pointless and I dont tbh know why Tina would be interested in her she's so boring!

Optimist1 · 20/09/2014 08:13

The radical character change is fairly common in EE, isn't it? (Thinking of Pat and Billy, but I'm sure there are other examples.) WRT Tosh, for someone who was perceptive enough to see through Alfie's deception, it's odd that she hasn't picked up on Tina's change of heart about having a baby.

Pyjamaramadrama · 20/09/2014 09:45

I hate Tosh, even moreso after last night. She needs to go.

They touched on the abuse a while ago when she shoved Tina into a door but they seem to have forgotten about that now.

BBQsAreSooooOverrated · 20/09/2014 09:50

Yes tosh Is annoying, has the dv storyline been dropped now then or will something come out again later on. Think Tina should dump tosh and get with Sonia :)

Mrsjayy · 20/09/2014 10:05

I think the dv story is a slow burner I dont think its been dropped they cant leave it like it never happened and everything is alright now hate tosh though she is so bland

VashtaNerada · 20/09/2014 10:50

I did wonder if Tina not wanting the baby will make Tosh flip. I really hope they haven't just dropped the DV storyline, perpetrators don't just 'get better'.

Mrsjayy · 20/09/2014 10:57

I think if tina was being beaten every day by tosh then it would sensationalised iyyswim.

cleanmachine · 20/09/2014 14:54

Oh I hate the dean story. Hes fit so surely they can put him to better use.

Im sooo sick of kat and alfie. Always the same old story. This time he's a racist all as being a loser. Kat looks amazing for having just had twins. Sick of Stacey too. Ee is just going round in circles with airlines it had repeated many times over the years. Can't bear alfies poor me face any more.

Hate the Charlie cotton story too. And Tina and tosh. Am quite sad bianca is going although I think ee should stop bringing back these actors so never want to stay.

Nancy66 · 20/09/2014 14:57

so Alfie was so broke that he didn't pay his rent in six months - but he kept on paying his home contents insurance premiums?

sophroniaa · 20/09/2014 15:06

It's baloney that he kept up with insurance payments but not his rent. Six months! Alfie is a prat. I'm actually looking forward to him getting caught, which he will. He's so spineless and ineffectual.

Stacey sounds and looks like an annoying chipmunk.

sophroniaa · 20/09/2014 15:08

And please no more of Phil snogging! What the appeal of that man is I'll never know.

OwlCapone · 20/09/2014 17:27

Are we use he has kept the insurance payments? Maybe that is a twist - the policy has lapsed so it was all in vain. Mind you, he might have paid it in one go at the start.

Optimist1 · 20/09/2014 19:31

Can't remember who the house Alfie and Kat live in belongs to?

ilovechristmas1 · 20/09/2014 19:45

i think it's the council,Dots is deffo council

Alfie mentioned (lied) to Kat that the council had given them more time to find the rent, before fire was started

i know they cant afford to live there (kat etc) but can you imagine what the private rent would be on that place

Optimist1 · 20/09/2014 20:54

Thanks, Christmas - in RL surely the council would have people round assessing the damage? EE is getting further and further from RL, though! And yes, Kat's still under the impression that they were given a few months leeway, isn't she?

I agree, the cost of private rental would be massive - about a couple of grand a month, I guess.

cleanmachine · 20/09/2014 23:07

Danny dyer is getting on my wick. Hes just so over the top. His acting, his accent, his gurning. Really liked him at the start but he's becoming a caricature of what he thinks a cockney landlord is like. His accent gets more and more extreme every week. The woman who plays Linda is good. Her acting is subtle and interesting.

Abbi has lost weight. Whats happening to Sharon's back, wider every episode.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/09/2014 01:43

Watching a catch-up episode.
The Fire Investigator oooooh I knew his face and had to Google (sad I know) - he was the teacher in Emmerdale who pushed Rachel over the cliff (after morphing her into the double of his late wife)

Nancy is so bloody pretty - her profile is strong and model-perfect (she reminded me a bit of Zara Phillips when she started on EE)

She needs a make-over and a Ta-Da moment for sure (get rid of that stupid hair style and get her into a frock)

jaynebxl · 21/09/2014 06:22

The actress playing Nancy was on some soap award thing amd I didn't recognise her. She had her hair done nicely, was wearing a pretty dress and looked stunning.

Pyjamaramadrama · 21/09/2014 08:43

I'm not sure that I want to see Nancy get a makeover, the basketball clothes are who she is, a bit like Bianca with her weirdly wacky outfits. They're part of the character.

We already have Lauren and had Lucy, who are very dull, sticking Nancy in a dress would make her far too boring.

Mrsjayy · 21/09/2014 10:14

Oh no I dont want nancy in a frock just out of thosr bloody nylon shorts. I meant to ask have the babies and tommy gone to the creche for the foreseeable as nobody was looking after them alfie was going around with his pained face and mo and stacy were at masoods

BBQsAreSooooOverrated · 21/09/2014 10:46

wow she scrubs up well

sophroniaa · 21/09/2014 11:05

Lee looks almost handsome there too. His character, and his relationship with Whitney, is so dull.

I think the thing with Nancy is that it's all so extreme. The head to toe sportswear/basketball wear isn't suitable for every occasion. And the contrived, low maintenance, yet actually high maintenance, hair style. Lauren and co style may be dull, but they don't wear (for example) body con dresses for every occasion, they dress up and down as situation requires.

sophroniaa · 21/09/2014 11:07

The Fire Investigator oooooh I knew his face and had to Google (sad I know) - he was the teacher in Emmerdale who pushed Rachel over the cliff (after morphing her into the double of his late wife)

Wow! Is that from the Emmerdale Farm days? It sounds familiar and I only watched it back then

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/09/2014 11:27

Can't decide whether to read here or not and ruin it form self - away in sunny Tenerife and laying by the pool - heaven

If you rent do you need building contents? Surely just contents? Mine says old for new ad think £50k

Can't believe council would allow 6mths non rent paying and would evict /give notice after surely 2?

Nancy looks lovely with hair down. Natural beauty

OwlCapone · 21/09/2014 12:26

I don't want to see Nancy in a frock, just not in something shite.
