I know it's dreadful (Channel 5 after all...) however I am sure I will end up watching this at some point.

Will anyone else watch with me?

OP posts:
DiaDuit · 28/07/2014 22:21

I'm just watching this on plus1.

I loved how the first woman's children had all these blingy dresses and gold jewellery but they've no carpet in their landing Hmm

Aeroflotgirl · 28/07/2014 22:23

And that hooters outfit and dance, I am absolutely disgusted. She us making her very young chikd look and dance like a lap dancer, she should be ashamed thoroughly ashamed! Well their might be if they can afford Swarovski cry styles and 2k dresses!

Jellykat · 28/07/2014 22:24

I've got a feeling those mums are going to receive a severe backlash from having their child rearing 'skills' displayed on national telly.

All very very sad.

Aeroflotgirl · 28/07/2014 22:28

I thought Hooters was a chain of lap dancing clubs, how very appropriate!

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/07/2014 22:29

Words astound me. Why would you do this to a chikd?

Hate earrings on kids let alone hoops/dangly things

Intrigued how she pays for it all esp as on benifits

Mum also looks like she has had Botox - face looks weird

dillite · 28/07/2014 22:32

Some people really should not procreate. And they deserve all the backlash that there will be. One of them already had some, and yet she decides to go on national TV!

SiennaBlake · 28/07/2014 22:33

They crave fame I reckon.

DiaDuit · 28/07/2014 22:39

is the mum that put the money away on the pink dress the mum who was in the news for having to redecorate her house blue when she had a boy instead of a girl a few years ago? she had all pink in her house and then had a boy and decorated it all blue (incase he caught 'the gay' presumably) does anyone know what I'm gabbing about? Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/07/2014 22:39

The lady with the blue dress - blonde hair clown make up made me laugh

Most of the mum seem to try and be glamourous - tho them with the baby in the black and white dress and white ALICE band in hair - who kept looking nervously at the camera wasn't

The pagent was sad to watch - why why why

Stopmithering · 28/07/2014 22:43

Didn't see the whole thing. We're there any fathers in the programme?

DiaDuit · 28/07/2014 22:45

ah thanks sienna I thought her living room looked familiar minus the blue and black wallpaper but I was wrong.

SiennaBlake · 28/07/2014 22:48

I'm glad you mentioned her though because that article has amused me as much as the first time I read it Grin

DiaDuit · 28/07/2014 22:50

me too Grin

BoiledPiss · 28/07/2014 22:52

Stopmithering there was one dad, the dad of the two little girls, briefly... They had been out 'trying out some outfits and working the camera' he was holding one of the girls while the mum said 'we will be out again in a few days, same outfits, we are going home now because they are getting tired'
The girl in the dads arms looked exhausted, he was just nodding like a fool!

NoArmaniNoPunani · 28/07/2014 22:55

Did anyone else notice how infected that girl's ear looked (think it was Princess)

hoobypickypicky · 28/07/2014 22:55

The blonde woman around the table - and this is a serious question - is she mixed race or is she just heavily tanned. I think the first, the rest of the family say she's just tanned.

I'm open mouthed at the programme. Just - Shock

Forgetting all the rest of it, why do almost all of these women have to whine? Words like "comment" become "com-mennnnnnnt", "not" becomes "nooooooh", it must be exhausting to use all that extra energy just talking!

NoArmaniNoPunani · 28/07/2014 22:55

Boiled: that was the mum's friend, not the girl's dad.

DiaDuit · 28/07/2014 22:58

that hooters outfit in combination with that extremely sexualised dancing! Shock fucking disgusting. surely there is some form of inappropriate exposure there? someone taught her that dancing. that mum Leanne (I think) reminds me of some of the parents on child genius. not able to hide her disappointment that her Dd came third. didn't even make a fuss of the child or say she did well. Angry

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/07/2014 22:59

Tangoed not mixed race

Yes saw the ear :( cheap ear rings :(

Stopmithering · 28/07/2014 23:00

Not that the presence or influence of a 'father' makes a difference.
Sad for the women whose idea of happiness and success is based on nothing but appearance.
Sad for the children brought up with a warped sense of normality.

DiaDuit · 28/07/2014 23:00

I think that woman was channelling Nicki Minaj hooby

Glastogirl · 28/07/2014 23:01

Well ..... Um... Wow! I did actually quite enjoy it!

I dress my girls up in frilly socks and pretty dresses but never in any form of 'bling' or 'gold'.

The pageant was the most americanised one I've seen in the UK. My friend in America runs her own pageant business and that pageant was very much like the ones she does!

BoiledPiss · 28/07/2014 23:03

NoArmani, oh was it? Thanks I missed that then!

hoobypickypicky · 28/07/2014 23:12

The blonde is tanned? Shock Wow!
