It's starting soon Grin , I'm far too excited! just hope the transfer to BBC1 doesn't ruin it!

DD has been very accommodating and gone to sleep early so I can watch in peace.

I want to know what The Berry finds 'so unacceptable'!

juneybean · 27/08/2014 20:03

Grin at Mel & Sue

coffeeinbed · 27/08/2014 20:03

I couldn't possibly say say "self saucing pudding" with a straight face.

LalyRawr · 27/08/2014 20:04

Am I alone in never having known 'self saucing pudding' was an actual thing?

LaChatte · 27/08/2014 20:04

Oohooooh peanut butter and chocolate, Martha wins.

Evening everyone...sadly I cannot wait to find out what Mary finds 'unacceptable' - shop bought ice cream on an ice cream cake perhaps (fondant gate all other again Grin)

These look too complicated for me to even attempt making!

Ooh I do so love a self - saucing pudding. The pouring on sauce variety. Well, I like fondants too but they're a bit different IMHO. But a proper self - saucing pud is so easy and so so good. Bill Grainger seems to have lots of recipes for them, perhaps they're big in Oz?

Cherrypi · 27/08/2014 20:10

Ooh Chetan's sounds nice. Never heard of self saucing pudding.

Dolly80 · 27/08/2014 20:11

That's a good point Suffolk, a bigger one might be more achievable for me to try rather than individual ones a la GBBO. What's easiest type to try first?

juneybean · 27/08/2014 20:11

This looks mighty complicated

I'm not sure if saucy puddings are big in Oz but my partner is from New Zealand and traditional puddings like sticky toffee/spotted dick etc are alien to him! He does however love a good pavlova.

I'm worried Norm is going quite simple again

Dolly80 · 27/08/2014 20:14

Thanks Suffolk. And welcome to the thread.

Wickeddevil · 27/08/2014 20:14

Love the look of Louis pears with their foil hats.

IScreamForIceCream · 27/08/2014 20:15

I love Norm. Still.
