Just adding myself to the thread. Am watching it for the first time, and with my DD. (It's a bit late for her so we watch half live and then the next half on Thursdays.)

DD liked Jordan; she found him funny, although I am secretly a bit pleased that he has gone (especially rather than Norman).

Just watching Extra Slice for the first time, it's fun and I've always liked JB. But the panel (and the audience!) should have cups of tea, not glassesoif water!

Hi folks been away so i 'm going to watch the repeat at 11.30. this morning hooray! I've watched extra slice so there won't be any surprises. I actually felt sorry for Jordan on extra slice; he's an over the top personality with odd teeth that he shows too much but he seems ok . Funny that he said he's going to have proper lessons in cooking now!

Did anyone else get the distinct impression that Jo Brand really doesn't like Rosemary Schrager?

Yes and I don't reckon that Julian Clary liked her much either! Well she 's more than a bit of a know it all isn't she?

At first I thought that R.S. was Clarissa DW ( one of the fat ladies) she's recently KTB though hasn't she?

Yes - Jo Brand definitely had it in for Rosemary Shrager in Extra Slice - was a bit awkward at points. But RS did come across as overbearing and bombastic...

I thought Jordan came across really well on Extra Slice too. Mary Berry and Sue were clearly very fond of him in the tent. Maybe he was just edited badly in the main show.

Silly me the repeat on Saturday is of Extra Slice ! Hopefully the GBBO rpt. is actually today.

Yes, I know I'm late with commenting but just watched Extra Slice on iplayer and think Rosemary was being almost obnoxious. Finding fault with absolutely everything put in front of her and that air of self importance that emanated from her was extremely irritating. She makes PH appear sweet and gentle in comparison. At least PH is constructive, honest and gives credit where its due. Rosemary was just a know it all attention seeker.

Didn't like Rosemary. And why did she randomly have them knead (non-focaccia) bread while discussing focaccia?

Yes I agree with you both I rewatched it (accidentally !) I thought RS only had the 2 blokes do the kneading so she could show off her 'superior' kneading skills. Not a nice person at all.

Just seen a spoiler about the Beardie man's baked Alaska. I think he is in line for the MB hard state tonight....

I don't like RS. She reminds me of a really supercilious Home Ec teacher who can only feel good about themselves by rubbishing other people's efforts & being smug about it. Not nice.
