Has anyone read the mighty monk seal blog on last week? (On iPad so can't link, sorry). V funny and well observed as usual but also clairvoyant - he was bemoaning the lack of a history bit and said we need to hear about the cultural relevance of waffle cones and... That was last night's show ! Hmmm....

Sorry if this has been asked before but is it only the middle challenge that they can't prepare for? Do they get told the first one and the showstopper so they can prepare?

Disappointed in Norman this week. His signature biscuits were so simple and BORING. I know he got great feedback, but how hard is it to make a biscuit with three ingredients well? And then his Showstopper consisted of plain butter biscuits... boooring. I like him, so I hope he has grand plans for his bread, otherwise I dear he'll go the same way as Lucy last year, i.e. early promise, followed by "My plan is to make tomato bread really simply and well". Paul wasn't too impressed about plonking some tomatoes on top of a loaf, was he?
