That's fair enough, but if mick is 38/39 and Tina just had her 40th birthday, there is no way she could remember the painting and drowning incident with such clarity! Even is Mick was 18 months when it happened she could only be 2/3?

Is lee is 22, I suppose it's possible that Linda and mick were 16 when he was born?

I was trying to work out Tina's memory of the drowning incident too. If Mick has blocked it from his memory it would work with Tina being 4 or so.

They could've married at 16. It is pushing it a bit though. If that's the case then they obviously wanted the Shirley/Mum storyline as well as all the kids so this was the only way they could cram it all in.

Kellie Bright is 37. They rarely stick with actors real ages though so I'm guessing they're both supposed to be younger.

So how old was Linda when she was doing the page 3 modelling? Because the pub regulars were all searching for 'Linda Carter' implying she was married by then.

I thought maybe they could have looked at Shirley's self-destructive/destructive behavior without a suppressed motherhood storyline to add to the mix.

Not if they've been married for over 20 years. As in 20-something. With a 22 year old son.

maybe they married at 16 and she was preg with eldest, hence why they went ape shit when trying to stop wedding of daughter marrying her black boyfriend , who btw she didnt seem to miss/want/mourn him

why didnt they just make mich older then late 30's in ee

Eastenders needs a site like Corrie have/used to have, where all the characters are listed with dob, family etc. especially given how blardy complicated the Easties relationships are.

Complete change of topic... When is Kat having her twins! I'm thinking june time? What are we thinking? 2 boys, 2 girls or one of each? I actually sort of want it to be 2 boys. But then again Alfie would be amazing as a dad to a little girl Smile

I thought it was round about the beginning of September? I hope not one of each, a bit boring as boy/girl twins have already been done with Lucy and Peter. I agree I'd like to see Alfie as a dad to a little girl.

How far in advance do they film? Is it six weeks? Because I saw Jessie Wallace in a musical earlier this week (she was really good btw) and she said in an interview for it that she was off EE for a month for rehearsals then only in for a handful of times during the shows run. The show runs 8th May-8th June. So I think maybe she'll disappear soon and return in July sometime? She's not in it much at the moment anyway so only an odd scene here and there and we wouldn't notice she was missing really

Oh maybe September! I'm trying to remember when she announced the pregnancy. And wow jessie Wallace in a musical?? Would never have thought that! Didn't think of her as a singer.
