So who killed Lucy?

Will Ben have a new head?

When will Grant know he has a son via Michelle?

And many other tantilising thoughts that are going through my mind while I'm laying on a sunny beach using maccy D's free wifi :)

She gave Alfie a positive pregnancy test on Xmas day so I guess it depends how long she supposedly knew beforehand. But I think I remember on here people saying it happened quickly cus they had only been back together about 4 weeks?? Too confusing and unrealistic really, especially as he had low fertility!

I know me either, but she had a main part with quite a few solos, I was impressed! In the interview she did say her boyfriend was in a band and she sings with him a lot apparently.

Id love to see this musical! What's it called? Now you say this I can actually picture her in something like Les Mis, you know the character Helena Bonham-Carter played. Or a Nancy in Oliver! (Although probably too old for nancy now) lol but ykwim

I miss Kat too, I don't think she's very well written at all these days. I think the main person who wrote her left during the years she was out and I don't think the new writers know how to write her.

I miss the rest of the Slaters, I was thinking its sad how the families split and there's only one or two characters left. It will be the same with the Carter's in a few years.

Yeah Smile It's called Fings Ain't Wot They Used T'be and it's showing at Stratford East. The songs were written a year before Oliver I believe, by the same person.

I thought kat got preg very quickly. Considering they didn't sleep to ether till after he was meant to marry roxy - who has got over being jilted very quickly and moved on to market inspector

misstired I have also thought that Tina is Shirley's as well as Mick. Maybe that is why they cast the actors to look so similar?

I have no idea what is going on with my account but i was suddenly logged out and unable to log back in. I tried re-setting my password but was not sent the link via email so have contacted mumsnet to see what's happening. Very strange!

woah that would be really intense if she was Tina's mum too! I'm not sure how I feel about this storyline. Yes it's been done before with Kat/Zoe but it could be played out very differently. I wonder when/if Mick will find out

I am thinking more and more about Sharon being the murderer, and that comment she made about doing anything to protect brat Denny. But why would she need to hurt/kill Lucy to do that? What threat would Lucy be to Denny? or to Sharon?

Sharon liked her pills didn't she? And she's always on the go. I can see her getting into cocaine. I don't know if she did it but definitely think she was mixed up with Lucy and the drugs somehow.

HeyJules If Shirley is supposed to be 53 and Tina had her 40th recently, that would mean Shirley had her when she was 13. Just about possible.

I think it is Sharon. I think Phil was mixed up in supplying Lucy's drugs and it is something to do with Sharon protecting Phil - maybe Lucy blackmailed Phil with some information and so Sharon had to kill her before the information got out? Something like that?

Since the murder, Sharon has been really supportive of Ian, but not overly emotional herself.

Fanta sea that's what I think too. She did it to protect phil somehow. It would definitely tie in well with the 30th anniversary.

HeyJules yes, I think it would tie in with the 30th anniversary too, as Ian and Sharon are the only 2 original cast members.

My next choice is Phil, but I think because he has killed before, it wouldn't be so shocking.

I was about to say the same. It's more likely Sharon stopping Lucy from telling Phil as he'd go ape and throw her out.

I think you're on to something there Coumarin Lucy and sharon having a quick snort together at Alex's house before Roxy's housewarming party. Lucy pisses Of Sharon who slaps her causing brain haemorrhage. Jake helps dump body, gets drunk to deal with it and then forgets what happened.

I really like Nikki and I don't know why, she's the sort of character I'd want to slap usually!

I think Whit sending that card is a bit unbelievable. I dislike people but wouldn't write that, it's a bit strong. Maybe that's just me though

I find that quite credible! (in soapy terms, obv)

But I love the thought it was Denny. That little mop-shaking toe-rag is a much more likely child murderer than Ben Version 1 ever was. I loved psychopathic Ben 2 though. Hope he's back soon, wreaking sullen havoc & mayhem.

I can't say I'm surprised that Whitney wrote it. She was my first thought actually. Lucy did seem to be awful to her. I always wonder with things like this (regarding the text about her weight) how do the writers do this tactfully? Without offending actress?

The idea that Denny killed her is wild!! He's only about 9 isn't he?? I'm definitely going for Sharon.
