Roy was lovely, I was hoping that Anna told him so he could advise her to speak to the police or something. Jenna is growing on me now that she is out to get Lloyd's GF (I always forget her name because in my head she is Bonnie Langford). I hope whatever she is up to brings a decent storyline. I still can't believe that skull-faced Leanne is beating the men off with a stick.

I went on the tour last week, now I can't stop staring at the scenery rather than the actors.

It was totally brilliant, if any of you are thinking of going. Really worth the money. I stood in Gail's garden and pretended to have a fag in the smoking shelter at the the Rovers!

Anne where did you book tickets? I'm desperate to go as are my dc. I want to sit on deirdres sofa and buy some sweets in the kabin.

You sadly can't sit on Deirdre's sofa or go into the Kabin, but you see inside Sally's house, Tyrone's, the barge, Underworld, and of course the Rovers.

You then go out through a door which is the door to the Bistro and you are in the street. You can in Gail's garden, down the ginnel, in the smoking shelter at the Rovers, and the medical centre is the gift shop!

It is really good!

Izzy must have spent the money on another dose of Botox - her forehead is frozen as she sobs!

Is it just me that doesn't get the big deal over the charity money? Why didn't she just say 'oh, I borrowed some, I'll put it straight in when Gary gets paid on Monday'? And why did she say to Carla she'll pay it back 'somehow', she knows how she'll pay it back, when Gary gets his wages!

It is a big deal stealing charity money. Just look what happened to Arthur Fowler.

I really don't care about silly Lizzie and the charity money, or Anna and Owen, or dreadful Sophie and Maddie; but I did think the scenes between Steve and Lloyd were quite touching and more like vintage Corrie.

Yes I'm sure the writers read this thread. There's been a call for more Steve for a few threads now. He is brilliant. Just needs to dump Michelle and find a good partner to spark off.

Jenna has to go , horrible over acting Andrea ("I won dancing on ice") has to go.....

Damn you for subjecting us to more wingey, whiney, crying Izzy acting. I'm guessing it'll drag on for weeks as she tearfully talks the underworld crew round. Grrrrr. [shakes fist emoticon]

I can't stand her 'crying' acting. she's one of those characters - like Sophie - that nobody will ever care about regardless of storyline

Agree. I hate the plot device where a family get knock back after knock back. Are we supposed to be howling with pity at the latest Windass catastrophe? Presumably Gary won't get paid, Izzy will lose her job, Owen will have to settle for Tony's offer, then Tony will reduce the offer, Owen will get shafted etc. yawn.

Also I really hope Tony doesn't buy the yard as I can't stand him and certainly don't want him as a permanent fixture. I hope that they are not planning for him and Eileen to get back together.

Must say I'm 'slightly' interested in the Andrea secret although suspect it will be something boring like a housebound parent. It can't be a secret husband because that would be too similar to Eileen and the fireman. And a child wouldn't be something you would keep quiet about, especially if you were serious. But is Andrea serious about Lloyd? She just seems a bit superficial to me but then that could be her bad acting. And what happened to make Jenna soften all of a sudden? I missed that bit.

Lloyd told Jenna to be nicer and make more effort with Andrea and she agreed.

Apparently Tina spots the fact that Rob and Tracy are shifting Tony's nicked gear through the shop and threatens to shop the lot of them. I think that probably puts Tony nicely in the frame for Tina's murder. Think it'll be a newish character rather than someone like Karl.

Agree that even if Izzy got a terminal illness, was robbed at knifepoint and had a kitten that got lost, I couldn't even raise a flicker of sympathy for her. She is pointless and annoying with a whiney voice.

But why is Jenna still working part time in the cafe ?Surely as a trained physio she would have got another job by now ,perhaps at the gym ,which seems to be a massive success.I don't get it that nearly everyone can afford gym membership or personal trainers

I care little for izzy. But be careful what you say, a few threads ago we were criticised for being disablist when we said she was a rubbish actress with a whiny voice!

We care so little about Sophie and maddie that we cheered and clapped when they were manhandled and arrested by the cops. My hand would break before it tired of slapping those two.

It isn't disablist to say she is a rubbish actress. It has nothing whatsoever to do with her disability and everything to do with her lack of talent. She is totally unbelievable as a character. I only found out recently that she actually has a disability and isn't just using the wheelchair for the part like Paul Robinson and his pretend artificial leg in Neighbours.

I think Jenna is a shite actress as well and it's not because she's black.
