Hope no one minds - was just about to post on the thread but it was full.

What DVD? I missed that. Has no one watched it yet then or was it a red herring?

I wonder what will happen to their characters then when they are obv showing?

MissBattleaxe · 19/06/2014 12:33

They'll have a lot of scenes standing in front of a pot plant and then go and visit a sick Aunt we've never heard of. So far Ali King (Carla) and Julie have both had babies in RL in the past few years.

Also- I remember Bianca in EE being massively, obviously pregnant just before she went to jail very suddenly!

eddiemairswife · 19/06/2014 14:22

Another character is going to have shock pregnancy according to today's Daily Mail.

Lighthousekeeping · 19/06/2014 15:10

I imagine that will be miseryfuts Michelle
Or that one who's married to thd bloke that works in Qater

squoosh · 19/06/2014 15:46

I've just read that DM article about the upcoming pregnancy story. It's been done before! Just get rid of that character please.

Lighthousekeeping · 19/06/2014 16:00

Who??? I'm at work can't google!

hildasmuriel · 19/06/2014 16:16

That 'shock' storyline is ridiculous! And been done before.

But! On the upside Justin Moor house is joining the street. Should be a great addition.

JeanSeberg · 19/06/2014 16:16

Faye!

JodieGarberJacob · 19/06/2014 16:21

WHAAAT? You're joking? So Sarah-Louise all over again? Do they think our memories are erased every few years and we won't remember? And again, give this family a break, it's getting boring everything bad happening to them.

MissBattleaxe · 19/06/2014 16:25

The Windasses are enduring so much unending misery they ought to be on EE. Give them a break! Give them their 80k back!

JeanSeberg · 19/06/2014 16:32

It's true according to the DM Jodie.

Doesn't give much detail. The Sun says bosses are still working on the details, including who is the father,

JodieGarberJacob · 19/06/2014 16:37

Well it can't be anyone we know unless it's Craig or Simon! Shock

alemci · 19/06/2014 16:55

I thought it might be Andrea but not impressed with the Faye storyline.

JodieGarberJacob · 19/06/2014 17:42

I don't know what Andrea's doing at all. She looked really happy to see Neil then the next time you saw her looking at him she looked puzzled, although it might have been meant to be deep loathing. Not sure she has the range to show the correct emotions. And does she really like Lloyd or is that all a front?

MissBattleaxe · 19/06/2014 17:51

I think the explanation of how Andrea is feeling is in her words to Lloyd about rushing into something only to find you're trapped and end up loathing each other- or words to that effect.

Looks like husband was an early marriage that was wrong for her. I think she loves Lloyd and is in a pickle. I don't think she's evil or anything.

JeanSeberg · 19/06/2014 17:54

Andrea's husband's acting is cringeworthy.

eddiemairswife · 19/06/2014 18:11

I don't think the Andrea story rings true. She met Steve casually at the history class, so surely she would have mentioned in passing that her husband was abroad. The stories seem to have been cobbled together as if the writers are playing Consequences.

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 19/06/2014 18:19

Wrt to thw Faye storyline, I think they need to go down the route of her being twelve and underage for sex (as opposd to Sarah Lou who had an accident with her boyfriend).

I would like (like being the wrong word) to see it approached from the angle of the father being placed on the Register and the legal ramifications of a grooming incident rather than simply a gymslip mum scebario which SLs was.

Lighthousekeeping · 19/06/2014 18:26

Faye is a year younger than my niece. 12. That just makes me feel ill tbh.

hildasmuriel · 19/06/2014 19:24

Faye is an adopted child whose first adoptive father left abruptly after she came. Her second adoptive Dad is also on verge of leaving her Mum after a litany of family issues. Her real Dad lives next door with a woman who Faye finds difficult.

Surely there is enough to go on for a troubled teenager without making her pregnant. Rebel, become withdrawn, have issues at school, be a bully or become bullied but to make her pregnant?

Just ridiculous.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/06/2014 19:45

I rolled my eyes when I saw this story earlier. It is ridiculous.

I agree. It's rape and should be portrayed as such a crime.

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 19/06/2014 20:41

Yes, much better put.

It is rape.

JodieGarberJacob · 19/06/2014 21:25

Have they thought this through though with the association of Kevin and Ken's real life absences and all the other court cases going on? I think they should keep away from an underage sex storyline.

Lighthousekeeping · 19/06/2014 21:28

How old is the girl playing Faye? It won't be fair on her either. It's a family soap at that time. It's too much like something EE would do.
