Hope no one minds - was just about to post on the thread but it was full.

What DVD? I missed that. Has no one watched it yet then or was it a red herring?

Ds1 only recorded the first episode on monday Angry so I haven't seen when she died, all that bloody waiting and I missed it

Will have to try catch it at the weekend

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 04/06/2014 18:04

Ah yes, I remember the knockoff stuff coming out of the van now.

I was strangely unmoved by the second episode

NuggetofPurestGreen · 04/06/2014 20:00

Thought y

NuggetofPurestGreen · 04/06/2014 20:01

Oops.

Thought tonight was good. Liking the interplay between all the suspects. It's good the way they are all related so deirdre is defending peter etc and tracey is being sympathetic to him even though her partner thinks peter had done it etc.

JodieGarberJacob · 04/06/2014 20:04

Bloody football AGAIN!! Was waiting for Corrie at 7.30 but never happened so just settling down to watch on +1

NuggetofPurestGreen · 04/06/2014 20:38

Luckily for me I was on twitter at 6.55 and saw a tweet for
Utv saying Corrie in 5 mins Smile

Given that Ken dashed off to support his son in Canada months ago, you'd think he'd have hotfooted it back to be here for the mess his family is currently in! (Obviously I know in RL he hasn't started filming yet ....but they haven't even mentioned him!)

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 04/06/2014 23:17

He is starting filming again about now, so will be back on screen in a couple of months.

Looks like Les Dennis will be seen again shortly.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 05/06/2014 07:42

Thought it was a bit late for Gail to remember that Tina was her stepdaughter last night. She never seemed to bother with her while she was alive.

I'm dreading seeing Ken's smug face on it again. He is totally pointless as a character, Deirdre is much better without him.

hildasmuriel · 05/06/2014 08:21

I agree about Gail, she didn't even go to see Tina in hospital, mind neither was her real Mum there.

MissBattleaxe · 05/06/2014 09:08

I thought it was odd how everyone waited til Tina was at death's door before they thought of ringing her mum. Shouldn't they have done that immediately? Surely more important than having two friends there.

MargotLovedTom · 05/06/2014 09:41

Belatedly joining this thread - it's too long to post on when I'm on my phone.

The thing with Tina's mother really peed me off; I remember her popping up when Joe first came in it. It was explained that Tina and her mum didn't really get on but not to the point that they'd had a massive falling out. Also, to operate on her the medical staff would've needed her next of kin to sign a consent form so her mother would have to be informed.

Also agree about the ridiculousness of no-one even mentioning telling Ken about the biggest mess his son's ever been in!

Not looking forward to Les Dennis joining, he gives me the willies Grin.

hildasmuriel · 05/06/2014 10:04

As long as Les Dennis doesn't give anyone else the willies whilst he's on the Street. Please Les keep your willies to yourself. We already have enough with Peter Wink.

Lighthousekeeping · 05/06/2014 10:12

I really like Les. I don't know what they will do with him though.

Lighthousekeeping · 05/06/2014 10:13

How will they ever find out it was rob unless he confesses?

squoosh · 05/06/2014 10:24

I think he'll have a breakdown.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 05/06/2014 11:10

There used to be CCTV on the builders yard back in the Charlie Stubbs days, wonder if it's still there?

RoseHoney · 05/06/2014 11:25

Didn't Owen or Jason say something a couple of weeks ago about the CCTV not working? When they were selling up etc.

What's going on with Carla? Does she lose the baby?

mileysorearse · 05/06/2014 12:35

Jason said that he didn't think the CCTV worked as Gary whacked it with a ladder. I reckon it was a plot device and his Dad fixed it.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 05/06/2014 13:15

Rob may well crack up if Carla loses the baby. But I agree it's odd that they are so close now when he tried to steal her business from her not so long ago.

hildasmuriel · 05/06/2014 14:51

I think Tracy is the key, last night Robb was insistent about her keeping to the alibi story, surely she will question where he was, she knows he wasn't with her or at the party.

eddiemairswife · 05/06/2014 15:05

I think I read somewhere that the actor playing Peter is taking a break. If so, I hope we don't have to go through the wrongfully imprisoned, then released storyline. Eventually Rob must be found out; I wonder how his character will fare then, and Tracy.

squoosh · 05/06/2014 15:07

hilda you may be right. Tracey is being sympathetic to Peter so maybe it will become a Battle to Save a Sibling between Tracey and Rob.

hildasmuriel · 05/06/2014 15:43

They also showed Tracey comforting Simon, more reminders of her Barlowness.

RoseHoney · 05/06/2014 16:59

I defo think it'll be Tracy or Carla that tells the police it was Rob.

I really hope Peter doesn't get arrested for it, I hate how all the soaps do the whole 'arrest one person and later release them when the real criminal is revealed' Hmm
