Hope no one minds - was just about to post on the thread but it was full.

What DVD? I missed that. Has no one watched it yet then or was it a red herring?

Are they going to drag this out for months with the who dunnit or will Peter take the fall for it, if it goes on too long I may just give up

AmIthatSpringy · 29/05/2014 00:24

I can't believe that Tina was still mouthing off, when Rob was so clearly murderous.

I am disappointed that it was Rob, though. Other than his appalling taste in women, I was starting to like him

JodieGarberJacob · 29/05/2014 08:43

Is Rob going to be written out? Because we all saw him do it and he mustn't be allowed to get away with it. I'm thinking now that the actual 'murder' might take place in the hospital. Although, no, that's just like Sunita. I'm very excited though whatever happens! Also interested in the Anna/Owen resolution and watching Nick go mad about Leanne.

JodieGarberJacob · 29/05/2014 08:43

Yes, I was disappointed it was Rob. I was hoping for Tracey or Peter.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 29/05/2014 08:45

I was hoping for Tracey, I had started to like Rob and feel a bit srry for Carla (even though she has a history of ruthless marriage breaking herself, that phrase of marry the mistress create a vacancy was written for Peter).

mileysorearse · 29/05/2014 09:05

When she started to move I thought she might wander into the road and get hit by a car or something, so the driver would get the blame. I didn't expect the steel pipe!

DesperateHousewife21 · 29/05/2014 10:15

Steve was hilarious in that ep....ssomethig he said when he walked in the door about it all blowing over and Peters face was like Hmm

Quite like it being one ep every night, keeps it a steady stream and I can catch up easily (I go to bed at 9 Grin )

qazxc · 29/05/2014 10:53

Michelle is still immediately blaming Steve for everything! How is it his fault that Peter had an affair?

Ellenora5 · 29/05/2014 12:14

Michelle needs to go, her character is ridiculous, I hate the way she blames Steve for everything and she treats him like a child

qazxc · 29/05/2014 12:22

I can't imagine Steve screaming at/having a go at her when Carla had the affair with Peter behind Leanne's back .

MissBattleaxe · 29/05/2014 12:26

YY about Michelle. They need to get rid or start doing some proper writing for her character.

At the moment I could probably write her part:
Steve brings Michelle a cuppa. Michelle glares at him with her arms folded.

Steve brings Michelle breakfast in bed: Michelle glares at him from the bed with her arms folded.

Steve declares undying love to Michelle: Michelle glares at him with her arms folded.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 29/05/2014 19:32

I read something about Steve and Michelle on Digital Spy. I did think "about bloody time".

Have Steve and Leanne been together I think that would work so much better think they could have good banter. Love Steve- him, Deirdre, Liz and Eileen are on good form

NuggetofPurestGreen · 29/05/2014 20:45

I think Steve is the best character in it. Consistently since he started.

I used to like Michelle but the last few years she's been rubbish.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 29/05/2014 21:05

Ooh - was that from the metal pipe?

A card from Si would tip you over the edge.

Oh I love Steve. Best character in corrie for me. Like the perfect mix of blanche and reg holds worth.

Yes, do fuck off Michelle. She is an awful actress (and really horrible in RL - was v rude to dd when spotted in a shop)

AnneEyhtMeyer · 29/05/2014 21:14

I've always had a bit of a crush on Steve.

When I was in the tour gift shop I bought a Steve fridge magnet and the lady behind the counter said "Steve is our most popular magnet".

How far back in this thread do I need to go to work out what's happened, as this is the first time I've seen it this week, and it appears to have all been a bit dramatic.

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 29/05/2014 21:20

I really like Steve too.

I always have this niggle in the back of ny head though that he and Eileen will end up together and for good. Not for a while yet though.

Carlas face at the end of Wedbesdays episode was amazing. Like she was pure evil (towards Peter not Tina obvs)

JodieGarberJacob · 29/05/2014 21:20

I bought the Steve magnet as well Anne! Didn't realise everyone else did!

NuggetofPurestGreen · 29/05/2014 21:29

I want a Steve magnet!!!

Ebear need a summary? Happy to oblige but from when?!

JodieGarberJacob · 29/05/2014 21:30

Sunday?? Don't tell me footie is on tomorrow disrupting our viewing again.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 29/05/2014 21:47

I love my Steve magnet.

Ebear - in a nutshell - Tina wanted Peter to run away with her to Southampton, she was waiting for him and when he didn't turn up she went into the pub where Rob & Tracey were having their engagement party. At that moment Tracey had been pushing Carla to have a drink, Carla ended up blurting out she was pregnant. Lots of hoo-ha, Tina gets a visit from Rob, she tells him she will tell the police about the dodgy goods he is selling, he pushes her and she stumbles backwards off the balcony. Rob realises she isn't dead, offers to call an ambulance, she says she will tell the police everything, so Rob hits her over the head with a scaffolding pole. The nation cheers!
