Thought I'd start this as I'm not enjoying the other thread now with so many people on it who have seen US episodes.

Although I couldn't help but notice - her kids let Finn in (yes, I thought possibilities of something there in the future too, although he is definitely pinging my gaydar), Peter passed Finn on the way out and yet when they have a stand-up screaming match in the middle of the kitchen their kids miraculously don't hear a thing?!

I think I'm a bit thick but can someone explain the whole Kalinda/Damian/police woman thing? Howdid she know the police woman would have info on dDamian?

The police woman is a friend or associate of some kind - Damian had her follow/arrest kalinda in the 1st place, hence how they met.

Yes, I know they're friends of some sort but how did kalinda know she'd have stuff that she could use against damian?

They must be quite closely associated. He's able to ask a police officer to follow & arrest Kalinda for no other reason than he needs a favour, and she does it. I don't think it's a case of kalinda knowing she would have something on him, but using her to get access to her flat and see what she had on him, if anything. As a police officer in the pocket of a lawyer closely linked to gangs, my guess is she's done her homework on him, and kalinda would know she's the sort to do that.

All guesswork on my part but that's what I got from what's gone on. We don't really know enough about Damian to know exactly who he has links to and how/why but there have been a few hints.

Damian had the policewoman stop Kalinda from following him & she told Kalinda they were v good friends.

I LOVED Diane and Alicia's drunken martini scene. They are terrific. I'm constantly impressed and cheered by the amazing powerful, funny, complicated, older-than-24 characters in this show –who just happen to be women. It shows up a lot of other TV as being massively man-heavy.

I can't wait for Diane v David and MJF!

I'm a little bit in love with Finn too. I've never got the Matthew Goode thing before, but now I'm beginning to see the light. I'd love him and Alicia to have a 'thing', although of course he has a wife and kids so it wouldn't be easy or pretty he can just handily be divorcing his wife so they can get it together with no guilt

I have always had a bit of a thing for Matthew Goode. He was fab in A Single Man and was a brilliant Larry in My Family and Other Animals. Now he's looking a little older I think his jaw is a bit weaker though. not that I'd kick him out of bed!

Thinking about it now, I don't fancy any of the male actors in Good Wife. Not one of them floats my boat.

I've just googled Cary-he's 37! He looks about 25 I think... How old do you think he's meant to be in Good Wife? I always assumed he was meant to be straight out of law school at the start and precociously brilliant, hence starting his own firm at such a young age-but maybe he is meant to be mid/late 30s? He was 30 when Gilmore Girls finished, playing a 20ish year old!

37?!? Shock I think he looks mid-twenties too. And yes, I thought he was about 24–5 at the start of The Good Wife. Don't know what age that'd make his character now –how much time HAS passed since it started?

Anyway, I want whatever it is that makes him look like he does. I'm about his age but boy do I look older than him.
