Thought I'd start this as I'm not enjoying the other thread now with so many people on it who have seen US episodes.

I can't see how Alicia will carry on with Peter now. She will surely blame both herself and Peter for keeping her and Will apart. Or will she think that she should really make a go of it now?!

I adore The Good Wife. Kalinda's dodgy accent was a bit distracting, but fantasic episode aside from that :)

Kalinda's accent is ALWAYS dodgy IMO, although it was particularly bad this episode. There was reference to it a while ago – can't remember who, but someone made a reference to her being mysterious and asked her 'Where are you from?' and she said 'Here and there', so I think (hope!) she's not meant to just be American.

LOVED Diane firing the insensitive client, and Eli was fab in his exchanges with Peter, I thought. Really subtle expressions, thoughts and emotions.

Cary is pretty darn cute anyway, but when he was laying down the law at that deposition ... WOOF.

I'm actually thinking that Cary saying a while ago that him and Alicia were the new Will and Diane was maybe a bit of foreshadowing about the new direction of the show.

I haven't read the article but surely it's Louis Canning who is stealing clients? We can't have a season without MJF!

Such a great episode. Will's death didn't cause me much emotion (I think I was just stunned) but this week I cried multiple times. Especially loved David Lee but the whole episode was brilliant.

I think AP is just terrible at accents. Isn't Kalinda in fact supposed to be Canadian? As a bona fide Canuck myself, I can say that accent ain't right.

But the real question is... how many glasses of cab sauv will Alicia get through per episode now that she's dealing with Will's death?

I thought the glass of water scene was great. Really showed how different Alicia and Grace's views are and (I thought) hinted at tacit disapproval on Grace's part of Alicia's wine habit (and presumably other 'bad ways' like not believing in a god).

If her brother had been there he'd have shown up with a mobile full bar. Grin

I love Alicia. There- I've admitted my girl crush. She is totally flawed but so much more relatable for it. I also loved Diane's big play tonight and her in general. Yes The Good Wife has been a lot about reactions to mens actions but the female roles in it are outstanding. The performances tonight were once again amazing!

I thought of bue at the end with the mjf snippet. Grin

I also love the fact that all along Peters kept Alicia sweet for his career and now she's keeping him 'on retainer' for the benefit of hers quite openly with him.

Is something going to happen between Alicia and the ASA?

I cannot believe Peter said Will was a friend! He is a total idiot and brought it all on himself (Peter) but he's regreting that silly comment now (oh of course he is an actor but I have to keep reminding myself, gorgeous Josh Charles is very much alive but in the show it is so sad Will is dead!).

Where is Kalinda meant to be from? She is not meant to be born in the USA so she could just as easily have emigrated from the UK as from anywhere else. Her hubby was English wasn't he?
