Thought I'd start this as I'm not enjoying the other thread now with so many people on it who have seen US episodes.

Yes, actually killing off Peter would have been a much more interesting plot twist!

Totally would have spoilt it for me if I'd seen this coming, and the placement of it almost but not quite at the end of the show was very effective.

I am a little disappointed not to see Alicia's reaction til next week although I'm aware that's rather morbid.

Such a great show and such great performances.

I'm still coming to terms with it! I really though Alicia and Will would end up together in the end. I cannot wait for next weeks episode.

I knew this was coming because I'd read online spoilers. I assumed it would be tied up with drugs and Lamont Bishop though.

What? I'd managed to avoid the spoilers but the preview made it look as if it was Peter, so I was very disappointed to see it was Will.

I'm disappointed too but read a really interesting article around female leads only being identified by their romantic relationships, so I'm interested to see what they do with Alicia (& Diane) to take their characters forward. I'm hoping for good things!

I did think it was good that Alicia & Will had made peace in the end!

I only managed to watch it this evening, have just about stopped weeping.

I absolutely love(d) pigheaded, stubborn, gorgeous, clever, wonderful witty Will and I loved him and Alicia together. I enjoyed shouting at the telly 'for gods sake, just admit it, you love him/her'.

I'd also stumbled across the big spoiler a few weeks ago and have been half-dreading each episode since then.

Very interested to see what happens next...and expecting to do some more weeping next week, especially when we see Alicia's reaction.

Just watched it I knew it was coming (thanks to the bloody Guardian when it aired in the states) but I cried nonetheless. I just can't imagine the show without him.
