They did have a bag with stuff in for Judith, coz in the first episode with Tyreese nd the girls in they were giving her a bottle. He changed her nappy later, then they had to run off coz they heard walkers.

They could have found formula and baby food, in the house they were in, as it clearly did have a young baby there who died. Sad

e.g. the grave with the little shoes on the cross, in the garden, and a cot was clearly shown too.

Another brilliant episode this second half of the season.

That crazy mixed up little girl deserved a bullet but for them to actually have her die that way was so sad and made me weep.

Before they left the prison the girls had judith and a bag which i think had her stuff in it, when they were going to get on the bus but decided to go back and found tyreese

It's so sad, poor Lizzie. I think they should have made her meaner, they made her crazy and mixed up so I feel awful about the way she died. Surely they could have done something else for her... They basically just executed her.

Well Blondeshavemorefun they must be some massive rats, she's a chubby little thing Grin

She sure is. Did wonder where Judith was when lizzie was trying to feed the zomblie on the track with a rat and then The burnt zomblies came staggering out and all ran and so did Terese and carol

Lizzie tried to kill Judith in the episode when Carol first reunited with them, so I knew she wasn't long for this world (holding her hand over Judith mouth and nose - she knew what she was doing.)

Poor Mika, would have rather it had been Carl!

Just marking my place, I'm watching last nights episode now but read some of the thread because I couldn't stand the suspense! Now just thinking how cute and innocent mika is :(

Going to stop mn-ing and watch it now Smile

50shades I was glad actually that they didn't go down the well-trodden "evil child" route just to spare our feelings. I think that would've been too easy, too pat.

The sheer confusion of a child who was already struggling before the zombie apocalypse, and was then thrust into a brutal, terrifying world that even adults can't understand. So she made her own kind of sense out of it, her own fractured reality that allowed her to keep functioning. Gut-wrenching. And then the kicker is that poor Carol knows she's not evil or "other", but she is too dangerous to keep with them, too vulnerable to abandon, and yet far beyond any help they can provide.

An episode in which awful things happen and you feel for ALL of the parties involved. Poor Mika. Poor Carol. Poor Lizzie. No villains and no easy moral get-out clause.

I thought it was really well-done and really well-acted.

You''re right Tulip it's just so sad. I though the acting was great especially Carol and Lizzie.

Oh wow.

I think the most haunting bit for me was when Lizzie said "Judith will turn to. I was just going to...." ShockSad

Carol reacted in just the right way didn't she. The actress who plays her is amazing (know it's been said before!)

Ah dear. Poor mika.

Carol was brilliant in that episode, great acting. Why hasn't she been in anything else I've seen? She's ever so good.

Was the end meant to signify why Lizzie had gone the way she did? With the memory of Carol saying to her that to stop being scared everyone had to "change"?

Not sure about the end driveway. I had the subtitles on by then! It could have been interpreted a number of ways I think. I kind of took it to mean that carol was talking about one kind of change, and Lizzie took it completely differently. But am probably wrong Grin

The mist is brilliant esp the ending. It's directed by frank darabont as well.

Just watched it! Still a bit in shock!

So shocked that I pressed post too soon.

DH was wondering how the automatic lighter on the gas hob worked without electricity. I would need to watch again to see if they showed it lighting automatically as I didn't pay that much attention (totally the sort of thing he'd notice though)Smile

I was hoping that some of the groups would have met up by now. Are they all going to converge on terminus at the same time for a big happy reunion?

I'm going to have bad dreams about those two girls. Horrible. But I knew Carol would have to kill Lizzie. No alternative.

I did notice that Carole light the gas hob without matches or a lighter.

We watched it last night, I am glad I googled for spoilers so I knew what was coming. My DH didn't and he was really shocked.

I thought the acting was very good by all, the girl that plays Mika really captured sweetness and innocence without being schmaltzy. Sadly those people don't last long in WD. In the event of a zombie apocalypse I'm not sure I'd want to live with everyday brutality and fear. I think that's the saddest thing of all, watching the characters become brutalised. [possibly over thinkingConfused]

I agree Not, the saddest part was that Lizzie might have been rehabilitated before the world changed but there was no hope for her. she was so damaged.
"Just look at the flowers, Lizzie" was so moving. Carol is so strong. So great to see a female lead so decisive and yet not unemotional about it. She's lost Sophia, Mika and had to lose Lizzie too. Utterly soul destroying.

Poor Carol, she's really had the worst time.
