Everyone is saying that tonights episode is the best yet, baby needs to sleep so I can watch it!

OP posts:

I enjoyed the first half but was a little disappointed with terminus. When they were trying to escape they were being herded, the machine gun fire was stopping them taking certain routes. There were definitely people shouting for help from the containers and the skeletons looked like they'd had the flesh taken fr them and were not decomposed.

I noticed the powdered milk packets and thought of Judith.

I find michonne's voice really gentle compared to her bad ass personality.

hoppingmad · 01/04/2014 09:29

I think episode 1 of season 5 might be deeply disappointing. Showing how Glenn's group got into the boxcart and maybe some carol & Tyresse parts but not much story development. I hope I'm wrong

kentishgirl · 01/04/2014 09:54

I wonder if Carol will get a different type of reception? With Mary being pregnant, and the others at Terminus all seeming to be very young, a sensible middle aged woman rocking up having kept a baby alive, might be seen as an asset to the group rather than lunch. They might be able to hide the truth from Tyreese/Carol while they work on trying to influence them.

Here's a new little fun fact for you....on the IMDB, the character of Morgan (from S1 Ep1) is billed as being in last nights episode....

(sorry for crap pic!)

Yet he's not on the cast list for the episode....strange.

MrsKermittSmith · 01/04/2014 11:02

Did Coral get raped or was it all too quick?

I think the milk powder was for feeding up the meat.

There are a lot of maps and instructions and the people in the map room reminded me of a WWII strategy room. I think there might be more to terminus than cannibals and salvation, perhaps some dodgy game?

Tallalime · 01/04/2014 11:38

I don't think Mary is pregnant, Tasha Yar (sorry I know she's actually Denise Crosby but all I see when I see her is Tasha Yar - I was expecting Captain Picard to pop up at any minute) is in her mid/late fifties. I reckon she's just plump and healthy looking because of all the food they've got at Terminus.

rallytog1 · 01/04/2014 11:42

Apparently one of the producers incorrectly said Morgan would be in s4, when they actually meant s5. Suspect imdb hasn't caught up yet. Although with all those radios and roof snipers, it seems like the kind of place he'd fit in!

limitedperiodonly · 01/04/2014 11:56

Rick said something to Daryl like: 'you know/saw what I did to Tyreese.'

What was it? I don't remember him doing anything.

I thought it was odd that they took their weapons off them and then gave them back. Even if they were friendly, they'd confiscate weapons.

Also, that bbq is on all the time. Wouldn't you wait for people to turn up before throwing a tasty baby Judith rack of ribs on?

hoppingmad · 01/04/2014 11:58

Rick beat the crap out of Tyresse but I can't remember why

AmberLeaf · 01/04/2014 12:05

He was in season 4 wasn't he?

I had hoped Morgan would pop up somewhere, in a good way. It was sad to see him in the state he was when Rick came across him.

Hopefully, he will 'find himself' and turn up in season 5.

Its going to be such a long wait for season 5.

AmberLeaf · 01/04/2014 12:05

I don't remember Rick doing anything to Tyrese either.

ZacharyQuack · 01/04/2014 12:07

Tyreese took a swing at Rick after they found out that Karen and the other guy had been killed, then Rick beat him up.

rallytog1 · 01/04/2014 12:09

Sorry, I meantthe products incorrectly said he withdraw appear later in season 4. He was indeed in an earlier ep, having fashioned some very elegant zombie booby traps.

hoppingmad · 01/04/2014 12:13

What are people watching now?
I don't get much time to watch tv so I choose carefully Grin

We've just started watching believe which looks good so far.
Dh has been watching the 100 which doesn't look like my cup of tea. Bunch of teenagers, planet full of mutant creatures

Nothing's really scratching my TWD itch. Has anyone seen breaking bad? I've heard it's ok but is it worth getting in to?

AmberLeaf · 01/04/2014 12:17

Yes, he had a great walker snaring system didn't he.

I remember the bit when Tyrese found out about Karen, but it just didn't register that Rick beat him up.

Hoppingmad, my son has been on at me to watch breaking bad, he thought it was brilliant.

limitedperiodonly · 01/04/2014 12:18

Thanks. That sounds quite memorable. I honestly do try to pay attention but keep asking questions only to have someone explain: 'They beat up the bloke who was taunting Daryl and then shot him dead.' Blush

I sneered at what a bad shot the sniper was seconds before Michonne said: 'They're not trying to kill us' making me realise that it was probably obvious to everyone but me that they were herding them.

susiedaisy · 01/04/2014 12:19

I'm going to give breaking bad a go I think. I need somethingConfused

50shadesofknackered · 01/04/2014 12:33

I'm going to give Game of thrones a try. It's gonna be a long wait till season 5

CheerfulYank · 01/04/2014 12:45

I love Game of Thrones.

Also when Rick was still seeing Lori hallucinations he kicked Tyreese put of the prison for no reason.

AmberLeaf · 01/04/2014 12:46

Oh yes, I remember Rick throwing them out when he wasn't quite well after Lori died.

hoppingmad · 01/04/2014 12:52

Will have to look into game of thrones. Maybe we should have a TWD withdrawal thread for discussion of lesser other programmes

MoominsYonisAreScary · 01/04/2014 12:54

It did say on the spoiler I read that the sniper was a terrible shot but I sid think while watching it no they are herding them somewhere like cattle

Patchouli · 01/04/2014 13:00

I thought Rick's "they're going to feel pretty stupid....." line at the end was terrific.

TulipOHare · 01/04/2014 13:05

Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad are both brilliant. I would also urge anyone who hasn't yet seen it to watch the 2003 Battlestar Galactica. It's amazing, really, really good stuff. The kind of series I'd like to erase from my memory so that I could watch it again for the first time Grin

Little bit underwhelmed by TWD season finale but can't put my finger on why Hmm
