MILLYmo0se · 19/03/2014 21:37

HOW ARE THEY GONNA TO RESOLVE THIS IN 24 MINUTES ??!!

HazeltheMcWitch · 19/03/2014 21:41

So was that necklace scene in the station loos?
Did Denton vanish her form there?

HazeltheMcWitch · 19/03/2014 21:49

Whaaaaaaaaaat?

KenDoddsDadsDog · 19/03/2014 22:01

My goodness !!!!!!!!!

VivaLeBeaver · 19/03/2014 22:01

Mmmm. I have to say I think it was a bit unbelievable that Denton was so easily nobbled.

TroelsNextCampaignManager · 19/03/2014 22:01

Yowsers. So she was kind of innocent and yet still is the only one imprisoned for what happened. What a kicker of an ending. And the caddy, who really did set it all up, sits pretty.
Surely teeing up series 3?!

MILLYmo0se · 19/03/2014 22:02

Q&A with the writer www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/tv/

soupmaker · 19/03/2014 22:02

Good, really good. Bring on series 3.

ihatethecold · 19/03/2014 22:11

I was disappointed with that ending.
Feel a but let down.
Far too many loose ends.

HazeltheMcWitch · 19/03/2014 22:12

Ooh, that was as twisty turny as a twisty turny thing.
But I do feel a little - deflated? - that full justice has not been served, and that the fact that she was 'a bit guilty but it came from a good place'.

I think I am happy that Dryden was not complicit. Mostly as I fancy him.

MILLYmo0se · 19/03/2014 22:14

I dunno viva, in her eyes it was more for the girls sake than monetry gain, and she did have a change of heart so I thought it did fit in with her character.
Not sure how I feel about the ending tbh, will have to sleep on it !

Cocolepew · 19/03/2014 22:16

I haven't a clue what went on Confused

What was Dentons role in moving the witness? What did Ackers mean that she would hand him over to her?
What did they bribe her to do?

Help!!

Chooster · 19/03/2014 22:18

I don't get why Denton didn't just try to tell the truth in the end and why she kept quiet... I enjoyed it tho... The only thing I have regularly watched

VivaLeBeaver · 19/03/2014 22:19

So when she turned left that was as she'd changed her mind? So how come the ambushers car was on that road?

And why at the station after Dryden booted the girl out the car did Denton not intervene when the girl was attacked seeing as she was so bothered about her?

TroelsNextCampaignManager · 19/03/2014 22:22

Viva the murderers (Prashad etc) had put a tracker on Denton's car in case she backed out, so could see where she was going and intercept anyway.

Re Carly - she would have had to explain what she was doing there (ie stalking the lovely Mark Bonnar)

Chooster · 19/03/2014 22:22

Coco... i started to write out what I thought happened but got confused. I get what Denton and akers were doing but who put the tracker on Dentons car?

mollypup · 19/03/2014 22:22

I really enjoyed it but I am a tad confused!

Denton obviously accepted a bribe to transport the witness on the basis that it would help save carly and she would also receive some money. She changed her mind mid-way through the journey and drove straight into the ambush because her car was being tracked. But who was tracking her vehicle and how did she know it was there? Am i missing something?

Justice was not served, denton was essentially a pawn trying to the greater good but had it all thrown back in her face.

Cotton - what an absolute crook!

TroelsNextCampaignManager · 19/03/2014 22:23

Chooster it was Cotton/Prashad & co

ColouringInQueen · 19/03/2014 22:23

Not sure what I make of it yet. Seems she was very easily persuaded to turn "dodgy"... and I do get annoyed when people like Cotton get away with it all... but all very clever!

Chooster · 19/03/2014 22:24

Aahhh so Prasad. ... who is in on it with the caddy.

TroelsNextCampaignManager · 19/03/2014 22:24

OK - so the way I see it, Cotton or Prashad put the tracker on Lindsay's car in case she bottled it, which she did.

When she was still ambushed despite changing direction, she realised she must have been tracked so looked for the device.

edamsavestheday · 19/03/2014 22:33

Everyone's dirty, everyone's compromised. Love it. Glad to see Carly Kirk getting out - although that means the body that was found under the garage floor belongs to someone else...

TroelsNextCampaignManager · 19/03/2014 22:34

yy edam - who was the body in the garage?
Is that series 3 we hear calling Wink

HazeltheMcWitch · 19/03/2014 22:35

So, the Denton/Dryden thing...
Did she at all believe that he had set her up, or was her framing of him just part of her revenge?

Why has Prashad not shopped The Caddy?
