Just caught up with this episode.
I enjoyed it, but hope that the pace picks up next week. I too was really hoping that Darryl and Beth didn't get it on... although I definitely think she was flirting.
If she manages to convince him that they're the only ones left of their group, it could happen. But hopefully they'll meet the others soon and she'll be put back in her place!
My overriding feeling was poor Darryl, he's been a 'nobody' all his life, and in fact he became one of the strongest people in the group but maybe didn't quite realize how valued he was. I want Rick to tell him how great he is.
I think the people in the golf club had camped out there but then carried out a suicide pact... or something.
And two things which pissed me off.
- Beth's yellow T shirt. She got splattered with zombie blood, then took off her white cardi. But then the T shirt had 'washed out' blood stains on it, not 'freshly splattered' like they should have been. Then once she got outside the house - there were no bloodstains at all on the shirt, it was just grubby. It must be a magic self cleaning shirt.
- The burning of the house. Fine, burn the house down, but spend the night there in relative safety, sleeping off your hangovers before you destroy it. That was just daft.
Oh oh and also - you know the opening scene... where they were obviously being chased by a massive swarm of zombies... well once they reached the road, why didn't the just run along it? They can surely easily outrun the zombies.. but then I guess they would need to hide from them at some point.
I know I over think all of this.
