I think D burnt the house to get rid of the anger he feels for his past and his upbringing but I thought it was stupid, surely the fire would draw the walkers and it left them with nowhere to stay in the middle of the night
I thought that too. Um, sober up and spend the night, THEN burn it down if you must
don't wander off half-cut into the night. Thought it was pretty daft of her to try and get him drunk, too. If I was brattily insisting on getting pissed on moonshine in the midst of a zombie apocalypse which I would not I would want sober Daryl keeping his eyes peeled, crossbow at the ready.
Not really feeling this odd, episodic, character-work structure they've got going on. I want plot. And I want to see more than 2-3 characters per episode. This one felt a little bit corny in places, with all the Sharing Of Feelings and Emotional Pain. Character work is v important, but should arise naturally in the course of a story, the old "show, don't tell" adage.
But I did also want to hug Daryl
