Vera leaving the cobbles really made me blubbing. I'm not sure if Hayley's departure will make me feel the same?

thanks - me too! Am in Manchester for a conference for a few days mid-April so really hoping there'll be a chance to do it then...

mileysorearse · 08/03/2014 08:54

Has that girl that has moved in with Tina got her own room? When Ratboy was staying there he was on the sofa.

Strawdolly · 08/03/2014 09:01

we will be able to get continuity shots of actually going through the outside doors into the interiors. I will be looking out for this!

It may well be, Jodie, but it's a damn sight more interesting than the storylines just now.

I think I must have missed an episode - I didn't realise they had told Anna what had happened and I didn't see the bit about the hotel booking mix up. That's the bore beauty of soaps, you don't need to see it all.

It must be because the characters are all so horrible just now, that's why we're not enjoying it. If you had a bit of empathy with a character you'd care what was happening to them but with Corrie and Emmerdale at the moment they're none of them worth investing in.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 08/03/2014 10:19

miley come on now you know perfectly well that soap residences grow and lose extra bedrooms depending on the requirements of the storyline.

JeanSeberg · 08/03/2014 11:57

Yeah the walls are made of elastic lol.

MrsYoungSalvoMontalbano · 08/03/2014 12:07

particularly number 1! At one point I seem to recall there were Deirdre, Ken, Our Tracy, the kid, Blanche, Peter and maybe also one of Ken's various prodigal sons or grandsons, and Our Tracey's dying dad?

JeanSeberg · 08/03/2014 12:38

We can ask that question when we go on the tour and they can give us some top tips on how to make our own homes more spacious!

mileysorearse · 08/03/2014 13:11

[slaps forehead] That's why they were all sitting on the floor in Tina's kitchen, so we could admire the naicely painted skirtings

alemci · 08/03/2014 13:42

yes how to have extra bedrooms when required and fold an invisible room out of a wall.

also where to put the children and all their stuff when they are not in the plotline, e.g Joseph at the 24 hour boarding crecheGrin

Stockhausen · 08/03/2014 13:52

I wondered about carla getting pregnant. Maybe its carla who 'bumps' tina off? Wink

eddiemairswife · 08/03/2014 17:33

Just read that Michael Le Vell might go to live with his brother in Australia. My first reaction was that I didn't know Kevin had a brother, then realised I was confusing fact and fiction. I wonder how they will write him out for the second time.

Lighthousekeeping · 08/03/2014 18:22

Is Carla pregnant in real life? She looks like she has a bump.

Basically the only character I like atm is Tim and I never thought id say that. Hes v happy go lucky guy.

Bornin1984 · 10/03/2014 20:01

Tina's lips look massive!!!

peeveddoesntcoverit · 10/03/2014 20:38

Why is Sophie pursuing Maddy/Maddie?

She's just soooo rude!

JeanSeberg · 10/03/2014 20:41

I know, it's pathetic. Every situation is giving me blood pressure now !

JeanSeberg · 10/03/2014 20:41

The baby meerkat is cute though lol.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 10/03/2014 20:53

Sophies coat with the fur collar Shock

thenightsky · 10/03/2014 21:17

Lighthousekeeping · 10/03/2014 23:29

Iwantacampervan · 11/03/2014 06:59

particularly number 1!

Don't forget that the pub toilets are also somewhere in Ken and Dreery's house - maybe they've sorted that out on the new set.

mileysorearse · 11/03/2014 07:55

I wonder how Owen is going to get out of this tedious building plot malarkey? He must win in the end, otherwise why bother with it?

Why does Sawphie hit on every youngish female that crosses her path? And how come they are all conveniently gay?

DesperateHousewife21 · 11/03/2014 11:51

iwantacampervan Ive never thought about it before but YES the toilets are SO in their house!! Thats hilarious Grin

I was also thinking that about how Sophie seems to find all the gay females. I dont know any if RL and she has found 3 or 4 in the last couple of years, all on her doorstep. Although she practically made Sian be her girlfriend.

Also Jenna working in the cafe annoys me SO much! She is a trained physio, she would not be serving chips and cuppas!

ajandjjmum · 11/03/2014 16:52

I actually thought some of the lines were good yesterday (for a change), although I hate the Gary/Phelan story.

Spoiler*Didn't realise Peter was going as well! So he'll kill off Tina and run away leaving Carla pregnant.

mileysorearse · 11/03/2014 17:21

Sawphie looks like a big dopey lion in that coat.

The Peter and Tina storyline is so unbelievable. It's just a carbon copy of what happened with Carla but that had a slow build-up with him denying his feelings and the rape was what pulled them together emotionally. Surely they could have thought of a better farewell story than that?
