Was Michelle joking or half joking when she said she was still hoping to pass for 29? Even DP let out a guffaw at that. Also Ryan has to be at least twenty, which would mean that if people believed her she would have given birth when she was 9. Unless she is going to make Ryan lie about his age too like my mother tried to get me to do after being 36 for about 10 years

There isn't any official parking, the nearest is either the Museum of Science and Industry MOSI travel information - £4.50 for the day but free admission to the Museum, or we parked in the Water Street car park which was £4.00 for 4 hours (plenty of time for the tour).

From both of those, it's about a 5 minute walk - fairly flat as far as I remember.

I wish he'd said so outright in the bar instead of interrupting Michelle's birthday cake celebration by pointing ridiculously and letting everyone think he was an idiot. And how is he going to explain to Michelle that he knew about the affair when it all comes out?

To those asking, yes the tour is good.

First bit is "backstage" with a (cheesy) tour guide, many cringeworthy lines. You see dressing rooms, a couple of sets, some props, costumes and get to go in the Rovers set & have your photo taken behind the bar (£7.50!). Fairly speedy, as they have tours starting every 10 minutes.

Then you go onto the street & are free to wander for as long as you want. I went there when it was Granada studios tour, so not completely new experience for me, but it's still really surreal walking down such a familiar street.

We (me, dh & dds aged 17 and 14) all enjoyed it, but like all of these things nowadays its not cheap & plenty of retail opportunities.

I accidentally deleted the last 15 minutes of the episode where Rita went to see Dennis in hospital, she gave him what for and walked out. Then in the next episode he's back in the Kabin. What happened?

Kal and Leanne - zero chemistry. Leanne looks really old with that hairstyle. Eva is acting like a bit of a useless waste of space, I think her character is going to be lost without Gloria and Stella.

Maria - why oh why? I know she's had her fair share of crappy things happening, but she's not normally vindictive.

So, Steve doesn't know that Carla's pregnant. Neither does Tina. Michelle doesn't know about Peter and Tina. I couldn't give a toss about any of them except Steve, who is in a really difficult position and could defend himself from not telling Michelle because that would have put her in a really awkward position. I do think he should have told her though. As for Simon, I've never liked him, but poor kid, he always seems to be bottom of everyone's priority list.

Agree that Kal and Leanne have no chemistry. The scene in the gym was obviously supposed to be full of sexual tension, but there was none.

Simon has always been a whiny kid.

Eva looked like she had come from the 80's in her gym gear. They looked perfectly turned out not hot and sweaty and messy like I would be.

Steve knows that Carla is pregnant, Peter told him when he was pissed. It was all part of his drunken self pitying "I've been having an affair with Tina because I can't help myself and now Carla is pregnant and tina might be. and i'm going to lose the love of my life (Carla)".

Thanks, yes I watch and either crochet or MN on my phone at the same time so I do miss bits. So Steve and Michele both know Carla's pregnant but neither knows that the other knows, is that right?

I'd say Steve has guessed that Michelle knows.
When she was berating him for staying out the night she asked whether Peter had said anything about Carla. Steve something along the lines of "No should he have? Do you know anything about Carla?", Michelle got all flustered and just went no,no, just wondering. Steve said "that's the right answer". so I'd imagine he knows or has twigged that Carla has told michelle but is keeping it zipped.

Got back from the tour today. It is pretty busy - a group of 25/30 people every 10 minutes. Was quite interesting and certainly brought back some memories, but is definitely not wheelchair friendly, which took the shine off it for me (DM was with us, and it was very hard to get her around).

Really nice to see some of the room settings, and opened my eyes to the amazing tricks that cameras can pull off. Souvenir shop was rubbish - I wanted Roy's bag or Hilda's ducks, but it was all generic rubbish.
Photo behind Rovers bar is great, but explain this - 1 photo = £7.50, 2 photos = £10.00, 3 photos = £17.50. They really need to look at their costings!!!
Glad I went, but wouldn't rush back would be the verdict.
