It does make a change to actually have a proper full-on affair on the Street that no one twigs about for ages, usually it's a quick fumble (Todd and Marcus for example) or everyone finds out really quickly.

Being thick here, I don't get it womble.

I can't understand why no-one has spotted either of them furtively entering and leaving each other's flats. They hardly live in an isolated area.

Yeah and Peter has some neck getting it on with Tina while Carla's in the bistro ACROSS THE ROAD and could come back at any minute. Stupid.

But he did exactly the same with Carla when he was married to Leanne. What goes round........

He was softening her up with the same rehab mate stories that he fed Leanne when he was sneaking off to hotels with her, then she answers the phone to...a hotel

Exactly what I thought, he is using exactly the same lines and excuses he used when cheating on Leanne with Carla, and then the hotel calls. You'd think it'd give her pause for thought.

This Phelan story is irritating me. As if two back street builders would be heading up a huge conversion like that. Cover them both in cement and leave them.

Yeah Peter's lies are so transparent. The exact same as what he said to Leanne!!! Carla should be at least suspicious. ANNOYING.

Corrie as a whole is irritating!!!

It's completely ridiculous. Tina expecting him
to be able to just go away for a night and then being shocked when he suggests a b&b for a couple of hours. And that he just wants her for sex.

They could have done a reasonable storyline showing Tina as being vulnerable after Tommy left her and falling for Peter's "charms" and then slowly realising he's never going to leave the missus. Or portraying her as a hard faced schemer who doesn't care who she hurts etc. Instead it just happened at the speed of light, one day she's never spoken to Peter the next she is mad about him and she's just coming across as gormless rather than scheming or vulnerable. And there's zero spark between them. I hate it!

We've just got an HD TV and it's the first time I've noticed Tina's fake eyebrows!

Did anyone see the programme last night about the move from Granada studios to the new Salford Keys site? I think tonight's episode was the first from the new site.
Apparently the interiors of the Rovers and the factory are actually behind the exteriors instead of being completely separate so we will be able to get continuity shots of actually going through the outside doors into the interiors. I will be looking out for this!

Also for about six months (dates to be confirmed) the new owners of Granada will be doing tours of the old interior and exterior sets before they redevelop the site. A must for all Corrie addicts! See you there!

I went on the old tour about 20 years ago - it was very exciting. We were all looking through letterboxes & the curtains.

Apparently the street is wider so two cars can pass each other now, so that will be easy to spot and the houses are larger.

The street is wider, the houses are almost real size, and there is an extra upstairs window in the pub.
