Vera leaving the cobbles really made me blubbing. I'm not sure if Hayley's departure will make me feel the same?

Loved Emily and Breaking Bad, especially when she ducked out of her role as the ubiquitous street babysitter. Walter White Grin

HoopyFrood42 · 15/02/2014 19:04

I've been having such a laugh at some of the sweeping put-downs of recent storylines & characters Grin

Oooh, so Tina is going to get bumped off, hey?! I haven't been reading any sneak-peak prevews so I didn't know.

Let me guess what will happen ...... Carla comes back and finds out about Tina & Peter, and threatens that if he doesn't drop Tina pronto he's for the chop. So he gives her the boot, Tina's very upset (of course) and confides in Rita. After Rita's recent experience of Gloria sniffing around Dennis, she slags Tina off & they fall out. Even more upset now, Tina decides to get her own back on Rita by jumping into bed with Norris. Or Dennis.

Yep, that's it, Dennis ..... Wink

Impomea · 15/02/2014 20:39

Why is Emily lying about Walter White and watching Breaking Bad? Did I miss something?Confused

ProfYaffle · 16/02/2014 07:57

She just wanted to watch Breaking Bad (the programme about the man who sells diamonds, or is it crystals?) but couldn't do it if she was at Maria's so she wanted to stay at home.

Bornin1984 · 17/02/2014 19:56

Oh my god!!!!peter and what's her name makes me wanna vomit!!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 17/02/2014 20:16

Peter is about as far from a catch as I could imagine. How does he manage to get so many women?

thenightsky · 17/02/2014 21:29

Sorry, but Peter? I so would Blush

He needs a real woman like me Carla, not the orange teenager with the squeaky voice.

thenightsky · 17/02/2014 21:30

And what with bloody Fizz opening other people's post!! Shock

God she needs slapping.

alemci · 17/02/2014 21:34

yes why not use her flat.

why was Peter going to Paris, to meet Carla?

if not why would he go, bit confused

hickorychicken · 17/02/2014 21:40

Yup, peter.... i so would Grin

Migsy1 · 17/02/2014 21:59

Has Roy drowned in the canal? Shame about the vintage bag.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 17/02/2014 22:00

Surely as soon as Carla returns the fact that Peter said he was in Paris will be out? So Carla will want to know where he was?

How can you fancy Peter? Shock He hasn't a brain cell!

Bloody Fizz not only opening Roy's parcel, but then immediately discovers it is from Hayley but still pulls the weird statue thing out of the box, rather than just leaving the deeply sentimental item for Roy to open. She needs to fall in the canal.

hickorychicken · 17/02/2014 22:09

Fizz is selfish, but i dont miss hayley.

stleger · 17/02/2014 22:26

I was worried the parcel was an urn containing ashes.....

Ellenora5 · 18/02/2014 00:19

Peter went to Paris and came home a day early I think, he was talking to Carla on the phone pretending he was still there, supposedly she was busy with work and wouldn't be seeing him that day so he came back to see Tina, why they couldn't have gone to her flat is beyond me........stupid stupid storylines are getting on my nerves

Impomea · 18/02/2014 08:02

The Peter/Tina thing is just silly. Why would he want her when he has only just married Carla?

Hope Roy doesn't have too much of a tan he turns upSmile

mileysorearse · 18/02/2014 09:19

I hope she doesn't die from someone pushing her down the stairs. Didn't Ratboy push Gail and Tracey pretend that Becky pushed her?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 18/02/2014 09:29

Oh I must have missed the fact that he actually went to Paris but just returned early. Still a stupid storyline.

As is the Rita / Dennis one. Obviously it is just to give him an exit storyline, but I don't see why he couldn't just leave but still be in Corrie in an invisible role for a bit, like Kevin and Ken, or Fat Brenda where he is spoken about but never seen. Then give him a more believable off-screen exit.

Clawdy · 18/02/2014 09:55

What seems odd to me is Peter's utter lack of guilt about cheating on Carla - he seems to be constantly smirking and grinning!

eddiemairswife · 18/02/2014 11:32

Last night's episodes were a waste of time as far as I'm concerned. The ridiculous Tina/Peter situation; Rita/Dennis/Gloria......pensioners behaving like squabbling primary school children; stupid Fizz. The only bright spots.... Steve and Lloyd and a brief glimpse of Maria's dog (Ossie?).

mileysorearse · 18/02/2014 12:21

Peter and Tina is just like Peter and Carla, and that only seems like it happened a few months ago. Not very realistic, but then he is a bigamist Grin

Strawdolly · 18/02/2014 14:08

I disagree, AnneEyht, Fiz doesn't need to fall in the canal, she needs to be pushed hard. What's the bet when Roy comes back (which I think he will because if both actors were leaving the characters could have moved away) Fiz is huffy with him?

You know the Soap Awards? Is there a most annoying character one? Fiz wouldn't have any competition.

Has anyone else noticed Tina has made more of an effort with her looks for her big storyline?

IMHO the best storyline of late has been Emily watching Breaking Bad and there was no mention of that today Sad. Writers, please note - that really is the most interesting thing in it just now.

JodieGarberJacob · 18/02/2014 14:29

Yes, Tina looked lovely. I was amazed that her make-up was still perfect after the rumpy-pumpy. I'd love to know which brand she uses!
I would have preferred Steve and Lloyd to have discovered Peter as well but I suppose this way they can draw it out longer.

Nospringchickendipper · 18/02/2014 15:06

Tina looked lovely in the red blouse she was wearing.
I don't like the Peter and Tina storyline they seem to really enjoy the fact that they are deceiving people even his own son.

Todd makes my skin crawl I can't bear to look at him, there is something creepy about him.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 18/02/2014 18:01

Straw I take your point. You are, of course, right. A good hard shove is in order.
