I'm looking forward to it starting again. I've been working my way through the DVDs so am pleased the new ones start soon.

And they say we'll eventually find out who Red John is this series!

Latest on Rigsby and Van Pelt (don't read if you haven't seen the latest episode).

Only just realised that the actor who plays Rigsby is Welsh!

re van pelt's hair: when she was lying in that slatted dungeon we saw the top of her head - looked like a wig? Maybe that's why the fringe and why it looks a bit weird. (and if so, what's going on in rl for 'van pelt'? Let's hope it's a drastic haircut and not something more sinister..)

Just caught up (episode 15). Who is this Richard Heibach character? He's clearly got a major grudge against the team - are we meant to remember him from an earlier series?

I so want Jane and Lisbon to get together! Loved the latest episode (art theft)! I like the way they usually have a light/fun episode after a dark/harrowing one (I found last week harrowing, anyway!)

That Mentalist Wikia has eaten hours of my life this week...

I love the way the FBI people thought they were being so clever at the beginning and were going to control Jane, but within a short time he has them all wrapped around his little finger, so much so that they didn't bat an eyelid at a request for a marching band Grin.

I don't know whether we were meant to read into the man's comment about the way Jane looks at her that he is falling for her, or whether that was just Jane acting.

Not just that they agreed the marching band, but the way he had them dressed up and acting Grin

I must be very hard to please - I couldn't stand Lisbon and the OW dressed up with boobs aflashing. yuk! We should never see that much of Lisbon's boobs imo. It's all in the mystery, we know they're under there somewhere. And the head of the FBI bloke kicking back and being cool, sans spectacles, in the bar. Please, stick to your roles people.

and they're teasing us with the Jane/Lisbon stuff. They know we all want them to get together so they're giving us little sniffs to keep us dreaming.

I don't really want them to get together actually, I think it will spoil things. I like it that they are friends, they totally trust each other, love each other in their own way, and they argue a bit too, much more realistic than a romance between them would be.

Yep. And I know we don't know the timeline exactly, but he seems a bit over invested in the relationship.

I can't see how it won't be renewed, they're putting enough effort into building new characters etc. Viewing figures may be a factor, of course Grin . I hope they don't lose the funding and then wrap it all up quickly, with him and her having a kiss and a big american everyone-claps-and-cheers ending.

I've enjoyed the last few episodes but I miss Jane's loft and the sofa looks ridiculous against glass at the FBI office. I miss van Pelt and Rigsby. Heck, I miss the old set-up.

It does seem a bit odd that to all intents and purposes Jane now appears to be running the FBI. They do everything he says without question! I'm not saying they shouldn't as he's brilliant obviously but it was all rather sudden. He couldn't have hypnotised the whole lot of them surely? Grin.

Surely people at work would have known if he was married, what with being the FBI and all. No he must be dodgy in some other way...

Whatever it is I hope he hurries up and reveals his true colours as I'm fed up with Lisbon simpering and can't bear Jane's sad little face.
