I'm looking forward to it starting again. I've been working my way through the DVDs so am pleased the new ones start soon.

And they say we'll eventually find out who Red John is this series!

I think I just loved the ending when he shot red John in the cafe it was so neat and human and sad. Then it seems they panicked at the thought of it and all this tiger tiger stuff came in. Plus surely the tattoos were obviously going to be on more than one person?

Agree it's got a little bit ridiculous, but we've got this far, can't stop now!
I think it would still work without the Red John thing because the characters and the relationships between them are believable. Plenty of mileage in them yet Smile.

No, he thought he had and then found out he hadn't. He wondered (can't remember why though) and asked the blind lady, Red John ex-girlfriend to identify the body and it wasn't him.

Yep, and fingerprints and forensic evidence. I presume he just wanted to leave the gun behind? And maybe he thinks seeing what looks like a suicide is better than a murder for whoever finds the body?

I don't quite know what'll happen in the next episode though, presumably he's going on the run?

I still wonder if there is a leak in the team? RJ twice wanted to tell Jane about how he knew about the names in the list. And why would Rigsby help the FBI guy find them by telling him where Jane's wife was buried? Although if he had a tattoo I guess Van Pelt would know. Am I over thinking here?

And van pelt had that weird red John boyfriend that almost killed her. And she has red hair. And red John is clearly going to have survived.
Not cho, there's no storyline or hint; not Lisbon although red John did let her live and just daubed her with blood? But she has been shown being scared with no audience.
Van pelt also told them all the names.

I think he strangled him because strangulation is a very personal way of murdering someone. This way Red John died literally by Patrick's hand and he looked him in the eye while he did it.

Oh, I think he is really dead this time. At least, I hope so, the hunt for RJ has surely gone on long enough! I hope the coming eps will focus on identifying and dismantling the tyger tyger lot as a background to story-of-the-week episodes (and getting Patrick off for murder, I suppose).

As for the list of names, I don't think anyone inside the main cast is knowingly guilty, but some of them may have been deceived into helping RJ without realising it. They are pretty gullible, after all! I'm sure we will find out in the fullness of time...
